My grandfather absolutely loved the first few delta force games and passed them down to me when he passed away. The memories of this game with him were amazing

Its crazy how far graphics have come in the last 5 years

You can tell how series development basically hit a brick wall with 2003 Black Hawk Down. Each game afterwards looked basically the same and only 2004's Joint Operations really added something. Xtreme duology were basically laughable when you compare them to other FPS coming out those days.

I played the hell out of Delta Force 1 & 2 as a 16 year old. I just have memories of being super focused while playing these games like my life depended on it lol. Loved all the Novalogic voxel games. Especially since the voxel graphics work great on my low end computer. I remember messing around with the map editor for DF2 and making a level of a flooded middle eastern town as the setting and playing with others online. Good times.

Delta Force Land Warrior was by far the best game!

I got into Xtreme. It was clunky but at the time I was freshly back from my second deployment a deployment in which I saw some extensive contact and some of those firefights felt real (as goofy as it sounds) It holds a special place for me now years later as does all the rest of

Back when we could have real military games, feel like you were there and fought for freedom! Nowadays, the only thing we can do is keep shooting aliens, robots, Trans soldiers, Superman, UFO, zombies...

Hawk Ops is just Call of Duty with a Delta Force name. It's going to be riddled with microtransactions and will not resemble the original games. We already know that it's a hero shooter... "Big company buys thing and makes it worse." But the rest of the video was a nice stroll down memory lane.🙂

7:40...This was why the series failed....in 2009, there were already far better FPS like COD MW2 and Borderlands.

A series of great games that were spoiled and destroyed by commercialism. The goal was to earn more, but it turned out the opposite. RIP.

This is ridiculous. That Delta Force: Hawk Ops has nothing to do with Delta Force games which were made by NovaLogic, why would you put it in?

to be fair - Urban Warfare was Delta Force in name only - was done by a different dev and NL just published it... Task Force Dagger and Team Saber were done by different studios as well but yeah, Hawk Ops is not delta force in any way shape or form... same as that last comanche arcade game isn't a comanche game - they're just slapping the name on something they already had in development

@@ravenn22 Actually surprised Team Saber wasn't made by Novalogic given how it overall felt like same but more of DF:BHD. Makes somewhat sense though, it was still era when sequels/expansions were done by other studios and Novalogic was probably at the same time already doing Join Operations.

You can not call evolution to something that is created by another company that is not novalogic, also tencent created a game from 0 without any influence of previous delta force.

New Delta Force is not a Novalogic game. It's different.

The graphics may fine but look at the old ones there is a gameplay...looks like a new try to make a cod we do not want.

Just like the SW sequel trilogy that is not regarded as SW by many, same goes in this case with the newest DF game not being a real DF game. Just a ripoff.

First game I ever played was df1 and df2 on my grandparents old ass pc back in prolly 2000-2001
