I absolutely love Black Adam and trust me when I say that nobody is more excited than I am to finally see him on the big screen! But I really don’t think Dwayne Johnson was the right choice for this. I have seen nothing from him that indicates he can deliver a believable performance in this role. The Rock is the ideal, typical Hollywood schlock action star: he’s very positive and peppy, delivers stupid one-liners with as much cheesiness as Arnold Schwarzenegger in his heyday, is approachable for all age groups, and will seemingly say yes to just about every shitty script thrown his way. Dwayne Johnson seems like such a nice, sweet guy and I’m glad he’s experiencing so much success. But I feel like they only brought him onboard for Black Adam due to his star power. If The Rock is attached to a product, that will put asses in seats and money in the box office. He’s perfect for generic comedies and action films that they can crank out by the dozen, but not quite for a character as dark and complicated as Black Adam. Remorseless. Murderous. Tyrannical. Noble. Just a few of the traits that Black Adam is known for. He wields vast godly powers and knows just how to utilize every single one of them. The man rules his country with an iron fist, and holds weekly public executions that he carries out himself. While he is seen as a tyrant by the rest of the world and will swiftly silence any dissenters, his people still love him because he will gladly fight and die to protect them. When Black Adam attacks, every move is intended to kill. He will brutally and mercilessly murder anyone he thinks is a threat to him or his nation. I don’t see Dwayne Johnson bringing a convincing portrayal of that character. All he has going for him is his fantastic physical presence. When I look at him, no matter what role he’s in, I just see that big goofy persona he’s always known for. The only reason I have any hope for this project is that The Rock genuinely seems very interested in getting Black Adam onto the screen. He always seems so excited whenever he’s brought up in interviews. He’s expressed interest in playing the role since at least as far back as 2011.

@@thewhiterex7327 Well actually, Deathstroke will be apart of Justice League vs Legion of Doom movie. The reports say Deadshot will be in Suicide Squad reboot movie alongside with King Shark and some seriously underrated villains like Ratcatcher, Polkadot Man, and Peacemaker who will be played by none other than Dave Bautista according to reports. Who will probably have similar role to Drax, just another wasteful brutish character without any good 3 dimensional layer and good dialogue. To give you an idea of how dumb Peacemaker character is, his a guy that *kills* for *peace.* The only good thing about that role is that New52 Peacemaker actually looks like Dave Bautista. And DCEU is inspired by New52 comics.

@@mr.knightthedetective7435 I don't think justice league 2 is even in development josstice league flopped I actually only care about slade I heard he's confirmed to be in titans season 2 with his children I heard that esai Morales is confirmed to be titans version of slade Wilson and Chelsea zhang as rose Wilson then I immediately went to watch the show And quality wise it's good at best overall much better than the arrowverse from what I saw season 1 was an origins story and an introduction season Rachel far and kory don't have their costumes because they aren't heroes yet they leaked their final looks they look much better but it's just behind the scenes photos wait when you see them in action Rachel and robin had character development robin had plenty I think they are paving the way for nightwing this when he broke up with batman even in the comics he had some dark moods and Rachel had a small character development she started to get used of her powers as each episode goes but we shall see how this turns out Deatcstroke is the only reason why i started watching arrow acting performance and potrayal wise he did an excellent job manu was a great deathstroke I remember when manu wanted r rated dark gritty logan like deathstroke series he said pag13 isn't for a character like deathstroke and he even supporting joe manganiello's deathstroke but they removed him and instead they are developing kiddie superman and batwoman tv shows
