In SMO (Super Mario Odyssey) if you are having trouble to beat a boss and you keep dying, a guy from Tosterena will appear from your last save and he is offering a 6 heart (you know the hearts on which give you three extra hearts) for 50 coins. Don’t really know if people would consider that a power up. But yeah. Just to let you know

The P-Wing from Super Mario 3D Land should have been Lakitu's Cloud. Or even better it should have been a prompt given after a certain number of deaths on a single level asking if you want to skip the level. That way it functions like SMB3's Lakitu's Cloud in that while you can move on the level isn't cleared.

Welp,this has a word: OP If you dont know what does "OP" Means,that means "Over" "Powered"

Now imagine these in an RPG, like if the game was logging how many times you lost to a specific boss. P-Wing (SMB3) - Adds an endless combo jump to your attack menu. The jump will *only* end if you miss an action input. All stats as P-Raccoon Mario (based on the non-creative official name for the P-Acorn form; I'd prefer Dash Raccoon Mario) are the same as unassisted. Speed is x1.5 at all times. Gold Leaf (SM3DL/SM3DW) - Become White Tanooki Mario. All stats except HP are x2, HP is x4. Auto-counter all enemy attacks except projectiles. Can become statue to x4 Defense (stacks with the powerup's x2). Gold Leaf (NSMB2) - Become White Raccoon Mario. All stats except HP are x2, HP is x3. Auto-counter all enemy attacks except projectiles. P-Acorn (NSMBU/NSLU) - Become P-Flying Squirrel Mario (Yes, that's the actual name. I'd have preferred Updraft Squirrel Mario). Adds an endless combo jump to your attack menu. The jump will only end if you miss an action input. All stats are the same as unassisted. You'd still be able to lose battles in all of these forms. The game would only count a mark *against* 100% completion if it had to give you the item at the start of the battle. You'd be able to get the items normally as an extremely rare item to use without penalty.

Using these only helps you beat the level, but the if the game has a 3 or 5 star system it doesnt count and the game technically won't be completed so yeah it is considered cheating

First I Use The White Tanooki Suit Because It's Fun To Be An Invincible God. Then I Go Through The Level Without Cheating Because The Challenge Is Fun But I Will Never Use The P-Wing To Skip The Level That Is Not Fun.

What I mean is that they are assist items. They only show up to help you if you died a bunch of times, and Super Mario 3 was a play. Assist items are in the game, but not in the story EVER
