If you ask me, a lot of MK8's roster could be pressed together. All the Marios, Peaches, Bowsers, koopalings and whatnot could occupy the same space like the differently colored Yoshis and the villagers......Speaking of the villagers, why do the male and female villagers have separate character slots now? It worked fine when they shared a spot (and the same should be true of the inklings.)

i think they separated the 2 villagers so that the roster could be a perfect grid. Also I don't think the Koopalings should occupy the same spot because not only are they separate characters, but they're separate models rather than texture swaps.

I hope for the next game they get rid of Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina, Gold mario and PinkGold Peach, they are very crappy characters. Instead they should add veteran and new characters like: -Diddy and Dixie Kong -Birdo -Petey Piranha -Hammer Bro -Toadsworth -Pianta -Noki -Monty Mole -Nabbit -Kamek -Princess Sprixie -Heck, if they're dying to add a new mario, add freakin Paper Mario.

Using handheld Mario Karts for experimental rosters isn't a bad idea. Handhelds can't hold as many characters as console Mario Karts that try to include everyone under the sun. The next handheld one could have far out picks like Pianta or Whomp and I wouldn't complain.

I don’t really mind those characters in the game, as long as they don’t mess with the game’s identity, which they kind of did. Let’s see: Link, Isabelle, Villager; fine Inklings: okay Zelda & AC Tracks; um... when I was younger, me and my cousins as well my brothers. we used to play mario Kart 64 all night long for so many times and also played battle mode...man we used to get in fights over it...it didnt happen alot though and now that we are all older with family of our own. we always talks about mario Kart...it was great memories....games like this wasnt never about playing the game..it was about making memories playing with others..

Oooo, wait, could PGP be a costume? Same with GM and BR as a skin for Rosalina, so they aren't as bad? Kamek could be in, maybe Nabbit, Boom Boom, E. Gadd, Pianta and Noki as the newcomers.
