I think that as you already know you create masterpieces. To get snakes that took years to make cost money. My question to you is now that we can identify morph gene’s through DNA testing of snake sheds do you think there will come a time when you can just order the snake you want with the genes you want from a lab without doing it the old fashion way. If and when that becomes possible like it did with Dolly the lamb do you think that you would do it to save time and cut costs to arrive at your dream snakes much faster?

Thanks for your kind words and I’m gonna stick with the old-fashioned way. So hard to say on what it’ll be like in 10, 20 years and beyond

I don’t think people really understand how long certain projects can take. That’s why those animals are very expensive. It takes time, space and you have to hit the right odds.

the luck the work you have to put in to get a snake like that is incredible...I really think the prices are right on...love the calico combo...gorgeous colors and patterns 👍

I appreciate you discussing the price issue. I've only been really involved in the hobby for about five years, and even in that time I've seen the prices of some desirable genes drop noticeably as they become more widely produced. Really neat in a lot of ways to see the trends in action. Love your gorgeous babies!

Yea you can see it in real time sometimes, even just in a year or two. Each breeding season, more of a specific morph/combo becomes available etc.

Those are amazing Garrick!! Such vibrant colors, I remember seeing them in person and they are even better.

A lot of people don't understand you had to breed that one project for 6 years to get where your at.

Cool I enjoyed seeing this, love seeing some of the differences. When it comes to price it seems there’s all sorts of options. I’m thinking about getting a few nice females. Then a couple years down the road I’ll get a powerhouse make to pass along.

The reason they r expensive is unlike other markets. The seller or breeder tells u what is best or how much u should pay or what u should b breeding instead of the Consumer controlling the market.

I prefer without calico The other one before has more contrast than that one

The middle one is the banana spotnose calico yellowbelly clown. I'm keeping him, but the others are available. I haven't had a chance to post them on my website yet. Ball pythons are getting more expensive but it’s still definitely very cheap for a 5 gene male. In comparison. The multi recessive stuff is definitely the higher end but atleast it’s not $5k for a pied clown.
