1989 kit for me Bob. Especially the grey away one that matched Glenn Hysen's hair!
Loved the old Liverpool kit that they wear now from 1973 and before, the best between 1976/77 and 1981/82, Adidas of 1986 and 1988.

Never heard of this one until now! Looks awesome though, reminds me of the feeling I get when looking at old coke bottles. Would you explain if there is any particular significance to the Jersey besides looks, perhaps success in that time period or a specific likable character being a part of the club in that time period?

I'am not a Liverpool fan but i have to ask. Why did Liverpool stop using their club badge and go back to the Liver bird? i just think their badge looks amazing

The badge was just supposed to be for the centenary in 1992 but was kept because of the eternal flame. That's why every kit since returning to the iconic Liverbird has some form of tribute to the 97.

The Umbro kits 1976-1984 are the best for me. 👍
i prefer the early 70s, 80s and 90s jerseys
Reebok nailed absolutely every kit they made. Some might not be fond of the centralised badge, but I can't not fall in love with a kit like that. It's just so stylish.

1996-2006 The Lost Years - thanks to reebok. We missed out on so many beautiful iconic 90s Adidas strips. Then it got really nasty with Warrior and NB.

I agree that Reebok was a downgrade overall but the 2000 shirt was the only nice one they made. I own a Fowler one from this time and it works perfectly as a shirt to go out

Michael Robinson who came from Brighton HA, now sadly passed. Jim Beglin came into first team in 1984/85 season replacing Alan Kennedy.
