Out of all the common cards, the ice spirit probably was the one that needed the evolution the least. Clash Royale really needs to prioritise cards like skeleton dragons and rascals that are very niche and underused for evolutions.

@@funkymachine Still skeletons or archers better in hog rider decks than this. If evo ice spirit was faster to cycle then it would be better than skeletons. But 3 cycles is deal breaker .

I feel like they just gotta make different evolution conditions so cycle doesn't take over. Eg commons evolve by cycle, rares by spending elixir, epics evolve in the last 30 seconds of double and then triple elixir, and legendaries only if you hold it in your hand for 45+ seconds. That way you promote different play styles

Not gonna lie three cycles is good for the ice spirit, it's a lot less situational than skeletons to cycle since it can get a lot more value and it's VERY quick to play, as it can be played as cycle or inside of a push. Furthermore, its ability seems REALLY strong, unlike skeletons that just recreate themselves, so I can completely understand the three cycles required this time around

For me, it should be two cycles and two area damage in total (one when splashing onto enemy, and second as the special one)

would be sick to see a fireball evolution for summer update, maybe the fireball turns blue and leaves behind some fire that can kill weak units

difference between this and skeleton, is that ice spirit can only do one thing (to jump on a enemy or tower and die) so they should make the cycle smaller than being 3 ,p

lmaoo, it's obviously broken, and getting a 1 elixir card that freezes 3 times and does splash damage every time is insanely op. Getting this card every 3 turns would be waaaay to strong, especially for cycle decks. Skeletons were not strong because they were too Situational, and you could only use them to kill tanks, ice spirit works on every unit in the game, and still gets value after.

Ice Golem evo would be so cool. It looks so menacing but it’s the most docile card. It would be super tanky and attack troops with splash damage. But very low dps. It’s death slow would be a blizzard so the damage and slow stick around for a second

I love how different the evolution loons from the normal ice spirit

I think frost bomb range should be increased. It barely splash onto other troops.

Finally evo ice spirit was and idea of a smaller KZreadr but it wasn’t evo but had similar effects very nice

I feel like they should change it to 2 cycles but also need the stats a bit. Or else you’ll just cycle it the entire game just for it to get logged.

It's quite balanced but in my opinion it still needs further development, perhaps by reducing the cycle to 2, but it only gives the effect of freezing explosions 2 times and 1 last explosion which only causes slow and deal less damage

I think a perfect evolution is one that's ability is really good, but can be easily countered by the same counter as it's non-evo version (Ex. Royal Giant is still countered by ramp-up cards) This is why cards that get an extra health boost were the best evos (Archers, Firecracker, Barbarians)

If you use a champion and a cheap deck it wont take long to get the evo becuase of the 3 card cycle. Try 2.4 hog. Earthquake instead of fireball and little prince for musketeer or something along those lines.

My favorite evo is the royal guards, simpky because they needed it. Ice spirit didnt need it, theres so many common cards that are unused

They should make it 2 cycles but remove the slowing effect between the ice pulses (so it still freezes but it doesn’t slow while the diamond is above their head)

I think the next evolve (after this) should be goblins because its most logical

Honestly I was hoping they would atleast do ice wizard since it kind of needs a buff, and it as a evolution is much better than the ice spirit and fits the Christmas snowy theme.

Tornado a whole beatdown push with this would be so much value

I feel like ice spirit would work for a different evo cycle mechanic. Like the cycle mechanic makes sense, but 3 cycles feels dumb for this effect. What if, for some cards, once they met the cycle requirements were evolved for the rest of the match? Like, say the ice spirit has 5 cycles, but after that it is evolved for the rest of the round.
