@@x-Abraham-x2 I think it was voted to be main event. Also, there is a theory that it was voted that way so that people wouldn't stay up at 1am or later to watch SF or Tekken. It may be a joke, but Im glad I could see my favourite games earlier and still go to bed at a reasonable time.

Always thought and can't help thinking, SF5 was the downfall.

I was doing the SF4 trials today and got them all without much problem except for Gen. Insane this dude won Evo with such a character.

I am so happy for Gen, after all these years he have proven that he is a fighter to be reconciled with. He may be old and grumpy but his kung fu is wise

This was the best solo run in my opinion in the history of this game. The character, the player…everything was u expected and perfect.

7 years later and still enjoyable to watch. The fans and how Xian handled dirty tokido tactics is unbelievable

hiro takeda He meant "in story" not in game. Akuma in the story is supposed to be far above everyone else. Punch an island in half type powerful. They can't make him that powerful in the game due to balance.

Akuma's mastery of the Satsui no Hado ain't shown in his Ragin Demon. It's that he put two and two together and realized what an aerial fireball could do 😜

Da esperto dello street fighter vi dirò che una sfida tre due icone leggendari come Gen e Akuma sarà un incontro spettacolare dal 1987 a oggi 2023 si sono sfidati ben 3 volte di cui 2 vittorie del maestro Gen e 1 vittoria per Akuma ma Gen era malato, oggi Gen sta benissimo e non vede l' ora di distruggere Akuma.

Gen is such a difficult character to learn and play with let alone win one of the biggest video game tournaments with. Mad skillz. Who won with Hakan? They mentioned Hakan earlier.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, the difficulty of the game doesn't change the genre. 1 frame is 1/60th (you've got a little more with plinking) of a second though.

They dont own the video footage i believe. This channel just took it from the stream. U would need to ask mr wizard the evo tournament owner maybe or the stream channel it was broadcast from if u care about permission for rights. Capcom possibly if neither is the righys owner.

Xian picked up Gen and I predicted he would win cause NO ONE studied that matchup 😂 Same with fei long….players thought he was crap until Fuudo showed them how low IQ they were. Fei long turned out to be one of the most oppressive characters in the game.
