Not necessarily anime fighter but he played 3rd strike (urien) and SFIV (evil ryu) too back then, if u can find some old tournament clips with him. He was nicknamed shang tsung back then due to his long hair lol. Tho maybe he played some anime fighters before too but we never know

i heard that he is DQ due to misunderstanding and also he has kids, maybe he just burnt out in tekken, but yeah he also the reason im picking up Tekken (even though i ended up being yoshi main) lets just hope to see him more in Tekken 8
