A quick comment for all viewing. This was an exhibition that was done on day 1 of Evo right as the venue opened. I was legit asked in the spot to play. They didn't have enough players which is why Isostrife, who doesn't play much KOF, played and replaced by Andyocv. No money was at stake, this was all for fun, which is why we looked like we were enjoying ourselves even though E.T. wrecked us. Don't take this exhibition seriously. And play KOF. Any of them. But seriously, play 98umfe. I do believe it to be the best KOF.

I’m a long time SF player, and just bought 98 umfe cause I’ve always wanted to get into KOFs… thought about getting XV, but started with 98 instead cause I heard it was the best.

E.t plays like he never stop playing 98

Thank you for covering the older games. I think EVO should make it a 3 day event and dedicate a friday to the old school games.

That is a good idea. Since all of smash and Nintendo is gone from EVO. There's probably a lot more space and time slots available i would think for older fighting games like this now.

It already is a 3-day event! Highly recommended coming out to Vegas sometime for it, these retro games are all over the floor on the side stages and corners of the convention center if you want to be up in your eyeballs in classic fighting games (and the free arcade section with a ton of old school cabinets is awesome; got to play stuff like Tekken Tag, old Marvel Vs games, 3rd Strike, Puzzle Fighter, and Power Stone 2 against strangers) But glad Spooky and others are putting up the streams for the side stuff while pool play goes on for the modern games.

98 deserves Evo by far the best kof and it's still played til today the vanilla versión

These so old school games are so awesome, way more entertaining to watch watch then these modern fighting games

@@chasepalumbo2929 Yes i like that a lot also but it was too over the top for me to play,i think Simple but solid Gameplay the older ones established is where its all at and the new KOF does a very good job combining some new and old stuff although there is room for balance and gameplay improovement .

as i remember king's flighting object can follow 3B as combo, if u want them both to be part of combo after other moves, it needs to perform 3B a little bit delay as kick ->(delaying a little bit )->3B -> flighting object. is this mechanics changed now ?
