THIS SONG IS ABOUT MY EX 😂😂😂😂
Truthfully, it's impossible to describe how awesome it was to have grown up with this on your car radio.
If anybody is Still listening to this in 2024 You all Rock ❤.
Confused the hell out of my cousin by singing this song, with the word woman replaced with wizard. He thought I was lyrical genius making it all up on spot. He eventually figured it out though. :(
I can't be the only person who thought they were saying "medieval woman" lol
Everyone's ex wife/GF
We were SO spoiled in the 70s. We took for granted that you’d turn on the radio and hear great music like this. Nowadays I never touch a radio.
My mom used to try to dance to this song when I blasted it throughout the house. She was a musician and appreciated the layers of sound ELO produced. She passed away a year ago, and it reminds me of her.
This was supposed to be a filler song, but because of Jeff Lynne's excellent writing and production skills it became a huge hit. Funny how life works.
That's where black eyed peas got that sample
This is as good at 61 as it was when I was 16. What a tune. What a band!!!
"Niko, cousin, let's go bowling!"

The intro gets me every frikin time
I’m lucky to have a Dad with such a good taste in music who exposed me to so many great artists from before my time.
Jeff Lynne is musical genius.
It's like Jeff Lynne reformed the Beatles in the 70s without the actual Beatles. Even the actual Beatles thought so. Then in the 80s and 90s he actually worked a lot with the surviving Beatles.
Piano intro is so awesome
This is my favorite song by The Electric Light Orchestra.
I fucking love this band, I'm so glad i exist in a era where i can listen to whatever the hell i want - whenever I want.
