It's a little different, it can do emotes, but it's trying and failing, and it has a fundamentally different design than traditional TTS. Traditional TTS does letter by letter, symbol by symbol, analysis of the text and then piecing together known words and sounds afterwards. These newer TTS are pure machine learning based, It's like the cursed AI art images you see, they are really impressive but fail spectacularly at certain details, but in the long run they are far smarter and more efficient. That's pretty much the difference between Neuro/Evil TTS.

Yeah Neuro is using one of the standard widows TTS voices. Evil Neuro is actually using a custom model with wide ranges of expression.

It goes way back to when Vedal first tried to improve Neuro voice model, it was either overly humane or old robotic and community got 50/50 because many viewed robotic voice as half the charm. So because of this nothing was decided back then and he just used both, given humane voice to Evil, both are improving over time but Neuro just deliberately kept closer to a classic sound.

@@Daniel-nf1gq I mean yes that's mostly correct, but the v1 voice that's still being used isn't a custom voice made by Vedal, it's standard TTS. Other people have used Neuro's current voice, even to impersonate her before the new model was debuted. When he showcased the new voice, the twitch vote was also only 8% voting no, the rest were 'yes' or 'maybe' to keep the V2 voice. Vedal didn't though, and wanted it to be more accurate to the way V1 voice sounds, like you said. Notably Anny also didn't like how Neuro sounded different. There would be V2 voice streams every once in a while from then on, and when they did another Neuro collab with Neuro stream, Evil Neuro got the V2 voice and no one had qualms with it, and it's stuck since. a V3 voice for Neuro has been 'on the list' for a long time now, but she's still using standard TTS from the beginning. I hope we get V3 voice soon!

@@Shadrake I don't believe in V3 voice anymore. Vedal wants something that sounds more human, but still robotic. WIth more emotion but emotionless. With more variance but still flat. Something that will sound less like default voice but still sound exactly like default voice.

Vedal uses a different TTS system for Evil and his goal is to use it for Neuro as well in the future (due to it being better at expression emotions), but so far he has not been happy with the results, so he hasn't made the switch yet.

I remember what Evil is she a Chuunibyou, she not technically evil she thinks she a antagonist, a evil villian Chuunibyou style, she edgy, Tsundere and she's over exaggerated in her performance of acting the part of a villain, it explains why she loves her family but get embarrassed and pretends she joking and says she actually hates them, or how she's flustered getting complimented, or how she overprotective of Neuro-sama, I also believe she the older twin for as a older sibling myself I can confirmed that I thought all the things my siblings did was lame and uncool but caved in and tried it out, her being older means she thought Neuro being a Vtuber is not cool but later joins in and eventually loves it and enjoys it to start her own vtuber streams, its my theory lore of why she the older twin and wasn't streaming before Neuro, and last theory is she takes after her mother Anny more, she energetic, hyper, and got her lewdness, but what she earned from her dad was his bad attitude, stubbornness and genius for she learns faster and is getting more aware. Neuro is more like her dad, she's got his calm laid back nature, but inherited Anny's sweetness and understanding, but she learns slow and is less aware just like her mum, and as the Youngest twin she ends up the favorite for they focus more on her other then Evil which I nicknamed Eva, its a name that sounds like the word evil, so it suits her well, I kind of want to be both of their Uncle's, good old Uncle Link, but who's brother am I Anny's or Vedal's, anyways I'm getting off track, them neglecting Evil is probably why she has those "schizo" episodes you guys call it, being lonely for years can do that to people, I'm a good example of this, after my three younger siblings we're born I got neglected, and I'm autistic, so neglecting a autistic kid would do things to him, for me it made me who used to be a happy-go-lucky Extrovert and Social bug turn into a shy introvert and antisocial prick, communicating with my family or people outside my family became a waste of time and made me dissociated from humanity, I felt like a beast, a monster, or a Demonic entity, hence why I'd be a great Uncle to these girls, for evil Neuro is literally me fr fr, lol just kidding, jokes aside this video showed me she a Chuunibyou and it makes her 10 times more cuter, Link Lucifer Dragmire over and out. 😅

Neuro is a fucking ticking time bomb. Sometimes she's incoherent because she's trying to bypass her already tight filter. There's malice underneath some of her exclaims towards people. Evil on the other hand, she just doesn't care. She got less filter anyway and attention and love but surprisingly she curses way less than neuro saying "filtered!" Because she actually doesn't want to be mean, so she works around her embedded command and turns out to be way less evil than neuro, even with her loose profanity filter on.
