I'm a semi retired nightwatchman, and the neighbor's outdoor/indoor tomcat used to come visit me in the office and do the same thing. And then he would walk my rounds with me because I would give him a bowl of Temptation Bits at tour's end. I sure miss him.

I adopted a cat from a shelter that was horribly abused. When i brought him home, the first thing he did was go to a rocking chair that has a tweed like material and looked up at it crying. I gently set him on the cjair and he fell asleep. It was a spare chair but now it's his. I have other chairs for company but if someone needs the cat's chair its too bad.
