Pecos Hank your videos are awsome! Please try and be safe and keep up the great work!!
I see Skip under all these storms and watch all his stuff. Love his stuff!
"Evil bat wing" is positive ;)
As Hank moves a "friendly" rattlesnake in the middle of a back road out of danger: "Please don't try this at home. Wait until you are in the middle of nowhere, far from medical attention." He also demonstrates how to break in a new car, perhaps a bit more literally than more boring people. As always, amazing storm cinematography and terrific commentary. That lightning display at the end was mind-blowing. It was so violent and continuous, I thought the video must be speeded up, but no, you can see the steady progress down the road at normal speed. Makes me wonder what processes can drive such extreme electrical storms, so different from average thunderstorms.
I must say, what a beautiful lightning show that was!

I love how your editing your music and footage to make a Wild West nightmare, but you keep us calm. You are one bad hombre!
I've honestly always been, what's the word, fascinated by tornadoes. It all started the day I got a tornado on my fifth birthday (Horrible birthday present but at the same time it gave me a newfound passion, no one was hurt thank god) maybe one day I'll actually become a storm chaser. These videos are absolutely amazing and capture the beauty of these storms.
The critters speak volumes about you. A bearded lizard just asked me who's that fool with the snake you're watching there? I told it it was you. Said he'd heard tell of you and sat with me for a spell. We chilled and watched more, smiling.

Glad i could help. Thank you for writing at letting me know. All this truly means a lot.
The lightning was the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing these videos!
It's like the storm was saying "This is what you get for waiting so long." when it was hailing so much. And while I'm normally terrified by lightning and thunder, that was so beautiful to watch.
Love your editing and narration. Your laid back style gives it a documentary feel. Very nice. Thank you . . .
This video literally sent chills up my spine watching that beautiful lightning display! Out of all the storm chase videos, yours are the coolest!
awesome. I love your voice and how you tell us about these extreme exciting things without getting hysterical, like other stormchasers do. your my number 1 stormchaser on youtube.

Thank Eric! Got lots more coming when this road trip ends.
The guitar playing during the lightning show was so incredible. You, by far, have the best tornado videos I have seen. It’s easy to tell that you truly love what you’re doing. Subscribed!
That's my car. Already on that list. Make your own moonshine. 12.
It was awesome to see. Thanks Marc!
I was at the movie theatre when this was going on and lets just say it was the scariest thing to watch while drving home. That is one thing I do not miss about abilene texas.
That lightening at the end is amazing 🌩⛈🌩⛈🌩⛈🌩
You take a break from chasing tornados to play with snakes. You're a psycho man. Keep up the good work and please be safe.

I was looking to see if anybody got any footage of the storms around Abilene yesterday, and because of this video I stumbled onto your channel and your website. Holy hell, man. Your music, tornado vids, and wildlife stuff...it's all fantastic. You're keeping that Texas adventure spirit alive, and it's entertaining as hell. Keep doing what you do man.
awesome, Thank you Anthony. That means a lot.
His voice was quiet to me so I had my volume up a lot, then came the hail clip.
Damn that lightning at the end was insane. I hope I get to see something like that when I eventually start my storm chasing career :)
Why aren't you more popular you're commentary is amazing!

I don’t care how old this video is, I still love viewing it.
Hank, your stuff is always superior to just about any other WX presentations on KZread. Thanks for bringing such excellence to the extreme weather community.
I think the lightning footage is some of the finest I've ever seen! (And I've watched quite a lot of it!) Anyone watching this video. Put the resolution to 1080HD and go to full-screen mode! ... Great job Pecos!
Wow....i could almost feel the hair on my arms prickle from all that lightning.....absolutely gorgeous footage!
I guess less is more. This helps a lot, Thank you Joey!
Tornadoes amaze me but nothing's better than watching them and listening to your commentary! You're just like my daughter where animals are concerned. We've stopped on highways so she could get a turtle to safety but she's even taken worms off sidewalks and placed them in the grass. Every creature deserves rescuing!
This guy knows his stuff! Very talented and educated!
Yes. Thank you. Lots more to come.
I love how you matched your music, the guitar, with the lightning. Such a treat to watch.
I wonder how many windshields he has replaced in his life.

"Why did it have to be snakes?" Indiana Jones 🤣
that lightning! went thru it frame by frame! Amazing photography! thanks so much for sharing !
I saw a tornado forming above my head in Waxahachie TX back in 1998. It scared the hell out of me. Thank God it didn't touch down until it was over a field 1-2 miles away.
The lightning was awesome. In particular 4:07 - 4:10 - I have never seen before one bolt that lasted for 2-3 seconds and seemed to connect with the entire underside of the cloud over several miles. Take care and don't get too daring.
all this stuff is scary as hell but because of your chill, relaxed commentary and editing style i regularly watch your videos to calm down and relax
Great show! Especially love the extended lightning display. Thanks.
Your my new storm chaser guy,I've subscribed and your my only storm chaser channel...your so relaxing with your music choice, humour, footage and naration... I'm REALLY enjoying it.Im binge watching right now. Thanks Pecos
That lightning was totally bad ass!! I love it!!
This video is a work of art. Along with the music the editing is insanely good too.
Thank you for your videos. They are so much better than those where everybody's coming unglued and talking all at once. You make it easier to watch a deadly tornado form. Your also very easy on the eyes. That always helps to.
The lightning timed with the music sooo well
Amazing videos! Im really impressed with the quality and detail of your footage. Keep up the outstanding work. We all really appreciate it
Your lightning knowledge is awesome and those anvil crawler’s I’ve never seen before , thanks for doing what you do I love watching lightning ⛈ and you chasing those western coach whips, good job man and I like the guitar to , peace ✌️.

3:36 was the best strike ever.
Great video! Your explanations were perfect help for a presentation I had on supercells. Thanks so much!
Nobody does these tornado/weather videos like you do!!! Awesome job!!!
Dude, the way you explain things as your driving and your so calm, its really interesting brother. My wife and I really enjoy watching your videos its almost mysterious in a way because the music you make and choose to put in the videos are really cool. Plus I get to see things I've never seen storms do before. I've learned a lot from your channel. I do chase storms when I'm not working hopefully one day ill run into out in the field while following a gnarly super cell.
Im a simple man, I see Pecos Hank, I click like and watch with snacks and a joint.

Woohooo! Looking forward to seeing them! For now, I'll catch up on your other videos. Just a few left! :)
Thank you for your video! I like your way of storm chase storytelling. On that day my stormchase team and I (from Germany) have obviously chosen a very similar route. We started in Vernon, later we saw the fire on the right side of the road, surfed along the long line of cells, saw the distinctive cloud-embedded base of the cell (1:46 in your Video). Finally we experienced large hail near Ballinger (Tennis ball - sized hail near Ballinger,TX). Unfortunately we missed the nightly lightning show. Our trip ended that day in Brady.
1:19 “prairie dog farts are bigger than that” Lol
