I had an IV for about 3 days (induction that took a while) so of course my son lost a lot of weight. And the hospital made such a big deal about it, even though I pointed out that I had an IV. I didn't realize that my terrible chest swelling probably came from my IV too!
And the exact same thing occurs with vaccines injected into the body.
