What a beautiful man Evgeny is! All true artists are authentic human beings, and this is amply the case with Evgeny Kissin. His favorite quote from Shakespeare ("this above all, to thine own self be true...") also happens to be mine. Thanks to you tube I enjoy Kissin's playing almost every day. I love and revere him both as and pianist and musician, and also as a human being.

It's so regrettable he delves into politics. Would be much better if he just stayed where he is unsurpassed - in music. For a man so highly intelligent it is inconceivable how he refuses to perform in Turkey because of Armenian genocide but apparently has nothing against Israel's genocide towards Arabs. I wish he would play in Gaza last summer.

Well then, I wonder why Kissin does not move to such a great state he admires but prefers to stay in a highly antisemitic Paris? Hihihi! LOL!!!

What does one thing have to do with the other? Why does every Jew have to live in Israel? It is a fact that 1.5 million Arabs live in Israel as free people and your immature response won't change it. They can be openly gay, publicly dance in a bikini on the street (if they want) and protest whenever they want. Those are very basic things in Western Europe but it has to pointed out for you because of your demonization attempts.

Monsieur Cashow Indeed every distinguished Jewish musician, even the ones who were born in such a Paradise as Israel (Perlman, Zuckerman, etc.) live as far as possible from it, and in ordinary people, everyone who can afford it moves elsewhere. Our genius Kissin not only does not live there, he does not even perform there, LOL! He knows better that the public keeps using their cell phones, talks, laughs and generally having a good time when a pianist plays. Here in this video he looks like a hostage speaking under the gun. Well, most likely he is just being generously sponsored for all this rant. And after all, any musician needs sponsorship. Still, this looks and sounds bad. He is a genius musician but a misguided speaker - he could learn from the fate of musicians like Furtwangler or Richard Strauss who ended up at the wrong side of the trade. The sad point is that it will not help Israel's cause but might ruin his reputation leading to the decrease of popularity he enjoys.

1) Who said Israel is a paradise and who defines what paradise is? Nevertheless, Christians, Muslims and Arabs are free and there's not nearly another country in the region which comes close. 2) Why do you have to lie all the time? Kissin has visited and played in Israel several times. There are videos on KZread. Is this how you discuss all the time? Lying and hoping nobody checks the facts? By the way, what was your initial post all about then? Why should he play in Gaza, if he never plays in Israel? The thing is, you're lying and you get caught in your lies. I have to check, because I don't remember that the ruling "party" in Gaza has changed its official position to kill all the Jews in the world. I'm afraid he doesn't want to end up like Fatah members in 2007, falling off the roof, broken legs etc. 3) I see your double standard: Every Jew and Israeli (including internationally known musicians) has to live in Israel, otherwise they cannot stand it there. Apparently, there aren't non-Jewish artists who moved from Austrialia, UK to the US, or from the US, China to London etc. You're just another hater who doesn't get what he/she wants without lying and twisting. It's miserable. Evgeny Kissin does whatever he wants and you do not speak for him and tell others what he thinks. He can do it by himself, without a propagandist like you. Maybe next time you will have more truthful and relevant things to say to support your argument, other than "LOL".

Monsieur Cashow The fact is that he does NOT play in Israel anymore - check his tour schedule. As I said, he knows from experience what it is to play for Israeli audience who behaves as they are at the bazaar. He did play before but no longer in the land he loves so much, LOL! So he says one thing and does another, and it is beyond pathetic that he lowers himself to the level of the clowns like you. I have absolutely no interest in discussing you or anything with you, but I am free to express my opinion of his public appearances - and I just wish that he would do what he does best - speak with his hands, since by speaking like this he does a disservice to himself yet nothing ever will make Israel look better - or worse - than it already is, which is a cultural wasteland from which every artist of repute had fled, and any ordinary folks who could afford it did and continue to do the same. It is another Exodus, lol! I feel sorry for all who have to live in that continuous Armageddon with no hope of lasting peace, being consumed by the perpetual war. And Kissin's futile promotion of a vicious trap that Israel has become for all of its inhabitants is just ruinous for his reputation as an artist, an agent of god. If he has not been paid for this speech, one must admit that he is just crazy or stupid which he is not. So I hope he is well paid for this propaganda! Maybe he found it's more profitable and easy to speak like this than to play? I wish him earn a fortune. Pecunia non olet. LOL!!!

A star has fallen in the hate business ! How can a beautiful music like Kissin's be anywhere linked to children crying under the missiles of Israeli aircrafts destroying homes and schools in Gaza ! RIP, my former admiration to Kissin
