@@melodytheatre2887 Before Mumble came in, there was a bEAUTIFULLY animated scene of the ocean, and Toffle was talking about the numulites, but there was a jumpscare, and so that scene was only showed in the Japanese cut. I'm sad about it though bc after the jumpscare Snuf looked petrified.

I swear, Snufkin saying "domino effect", "impact", "lava" & "depths" make me feel like that this Moominvalley might be at least 300 years behind the rest of the world, but is still a lovely place to be in regardless & is honestly really peaceful from what I can see.

I think maybe it's partly because in the world where the majority of sentient creatures don't look like humans, they just don't have another term for "hands". And so, even the creatures who look mostly human call their hands paws. I really like the interpretations of Snufkin with literal paws though:)

Snufkin was with his mom and didn't say a thing about it (he probably doesn't know she's his mom yet).

If he told Little My to have good luck with the siblings, and she replies "see you later, bro" they both probably know that they share the same mom. My guess is that he is very independent and acts discreetly with his family (with the exception of Little My), that's why he doesn't bring it up or show much emotion when unexpectedly meeting his family.
