@@goofystrats6485 Well, it quite literally was... his teammates got bard ulted and couldn't help him for the first 8 SECONDS of the fight. He was getting pounded for an entire 8 seconds before his team arrived to the fight... It was legit a 1v3 + azir coming in and ulting and putting a turret.

Dude is 19 years old and put one of the best worlds performances I have seen since, TheShy 2018 and Faker 2017

Just 19 years old and already a gold medalist, world champion and finals MVP. Might very well be picking up on Faker's legacy one day. What a player T1 has nurtured!

Zeus deserved to be the MVP. He was a force to be reckon with. He was impactful during teamfights.

Being mentored by Khan during the sea games made Zeus so consistent this Worlds. He definitely learned a lot from Khan’s agressiveness I can tell🔥

Its impressive how Zeus improved. During their 18 - 0 run in 2022, he was regarded as the weak link (not entirely bad, but just average) in their team but now he is prolly the most consistently performing member.

Im sorry, but he was never the weakest in T1 last year, maybe it was Oner (He improved a lot this year though, like look at his performance in the Worlds). But Zeus is always monster in his lane, and can dominate it 1v1

Nah. During spring faker was targeted by people being called the weak link and carried by his rookie monster teammates. Summer guma was clearly the weak link since he underperformed since MSI and zeri / yuumi meta didn't fit him well, ruler gapped him hard that meta and started the geng lck dominance

You can't ignore the fact that Zeus carried T1 when Faker was recovering and even carried Faker in a lot of times in the Worlds. Zeus is the reincarnation of Marin's monstrosity and I am here for it. Well-deserved and well-warranted MVP.

Bruh, what the actual fuck? He took the journey in first, flash+q to get the angle for the 2 man stun on Ori and Zeri, then freaking ulted the tower to freeze tower damage and put Ori in the stasis. Keria on support is mind-boggling.

The way I saw it, if it was a close race for finals mvp, then just give it to Faker, but Zeus was by far the difference maker in those games. It seemed like all lanes were gapped but the gap between top and jg were more apparent than anywhere else.

While watching the tourney my focus was set on Faker, but watching highlights afterward Faker Zeus and Oner were all just on god mode. Gumayushi and Keria obviously played great too though. All tournament: Oner/Faker Zeus Guma/Keria I would say all best performing players. Maybe Chovy was mechanical better than Faker. But his calls in Clutch factor made him so dangerous. And Ruler is still the best adc for me. Meta suted guma keria more then ruler missing. Oner simply a beast on rell. Maybe the scariest pick of worlds was his rell.

It's because his in game name came from his real name, "Choi Woo-je," which pronounces Che-uu-jay -> Zeus (Je-uu-su in Korean). Also, fun fact, many languges, including Greek, pronounce Zeus as Zay-oos.

Zeus in LCK Interview said that his pronounce of his Esport name was Zay-oos not Zoos because of his Korean Name. Sometimes watch interviews not only the Play to know more about them.. you hate because of that. Zeus choose that to pronounce this Name not the Casters
