I respect you for saying Eastern-Asian and not just Asian like most people do. Edit: Please ignore the war in the comments 😂

Eh, the latter still conveys the same information. The simplest answer is usually the correct one. Sometimes political correctness is just plain unnecessary.

@@EddieTristes Over in Britain the term "Asian" refers to South Asian people more specifically, so MAESTRO is still correct here.

@@EddieTristes it doesnt, the term Asian is useless when talking about physical traits because it covers many ethnicities (Arabs, Indians, Turks, Iranians, Chinese etc.), it isn't about political correctness it is about using the right terms.

@@EddieTristes ya sure about that? I'm an Indian woman and the shape of eyes (faces too) is very diverse, like even in northern India, it depends on which area/state population are we taking! like, in Jammu and Kashmir there are very few with eastern eyes, and yeh i kinda have eastern-ish eyes cause I am from Assamese area!
"Eastern Asian eyes have a wonderful almond shape" this statement makes me really happy to hear

Honestly I always struggle with eyes, can't tell different shapes and it all looks the same But this is helpful for the basics:)
Finally someone who notes that not everyone has a crease
Also, the iris is a cone pointing into the eye with a dome (the cornea) overtop. For realistic eyes, that's important :)
Scott you absolute legend
I'm studying eyes right now and then I see your video! That's super convenient and a bit scary tbh.
Scott is the best at explaining everything with art and its honestly so nice and inspiring
Scott thank you so much! I really appreciate all the help you give! Thank you inspiring me so much. ❤
Sir please make a long video on faces please
this is god sent I cannot draw eyes no matter how hard I try and if I can it's not on a drawing it's just random doodles💀💀

i have the same but with everything amd when i actually sit down to try and draw something i just pray to the gods its gonna be a good artistic day for me
Sometimes the upper part of the circle can be covered by a browbone too! Esp depending on what angle you're looking from
Me who saw this video before a thousand times and seeing it again like it's brand new
This was so helpful 🥺 thank you!! I've been struggling when it comes to drawing eyes, I usually go for anime kinda of looking, but lately (after being inspired by Anastasia 1997 movie) I really want to draw Anya and Dimitri together and do this video is perfect to learn how to draw eyes.
I think this was the best tutorial for eyes on yt. Helpful tips and clear explanations.
Dude, thanks so much for these videos. Its really helpful for beginning artists like me to have a guide or at least something to get us started. Thank you for inspiring and motivating me!
A lot of east asian people do have creases and rounder eye shapes, but I appreciate you for mentioning it (and for this video in general it's amazing)
I don’t know what you do. It may be because you have so much experience in drawing, but your videos /tutorials have helped me so much as an artist. Thanks. I’m only 11 but in the past years I’ve improved so much, from trashy cartoon drawings (nothing against cartoons of course) to realism. My art is not at all comparable to yours, but I’d say for someone barely in tween years, I’m doing great.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Most other eye tutorials show step by step how to draw a particular eye while yours just gave a tutorial on how to draw all eyes! This is much more helpful to me because now I can draw an eye in a couple seconds rather than trying to draw this elaborate perfectly shaded realistic eye. Also because these are short I can watch the video hundreds of times if I need to! Your videos are really making an impact! Thank you!
Thank you so much! I learned alot from ya! :) thx for the art,the tips and best of all the motivation :)
Thank you so much i needed this so muchhhh
You're a life changer to me.
I’ve been drawing eyes for a while and this helps a million times. Thank you so much!
Thank you for always being here for everyone and me with beautiful and art tutorials 😊♥️
Thank you so much for sharing this tip with us it really helps
Thanks for the tips! I doodle eyes on everything (my school table, copybooks, my arms etc.) and these hacks will definitely alleviate my drawings 🤭
Your my favorite artist on this app your the very first realism drawing I ever made I cannot thank you enough for the motivation, the tips, and everything thing else again thank you so much ♥︎
My jaw dropped. This is a very helpful tip considering I don't like to draw faces in general(I don't practice much though, so that could be part of why I don't like it) but I'll definitely keep this in mind, thank you.
Kan i Just say his voice sounds incredibul.
I think this is better short videos talking about eyes than the one i saw from other channel. On the other one many people in the comment section have argument on "do or don't"
i feel like this is going to revolutionize the way i draw eyes.
This is the only useful short tutorial for drawing eyes
You just made the thing I struggle with much easier! I can draw people it's just that the eyes can be difficult. I've never thought of it that way. I will be trying this!
I love you SO MUCH! Please, don’t stop making content.
I showed your videos to my dad, because he really likes art, but he’s a pretty harsh critic and doesn’t say too much. “He’s very talented” -my dad This is the best compliment anyone could get from him.
Hi! im trying to learn how to draw and these videos are so fun to watch and super helpful!
thank you for this information and advice. i needed this, so thank you! 👍🏻
He makes it look so easy, super good drawings.
I love your videos so much. You are an inspiration
I started doing this a while ago after seeing this and it looks so much better than how I used to do it I love these short tutorials thanks scott
I always have an eyes page in the beginning of my sketchbooks. Not only is it fun and practice, it's a good warmup! Through my books you can see them go from atrocious flat almonds with scribbles on them to near realistic, which is pretty cool. Also, human eyes are soo weird and hard to draw! Like, why's the sclera so big and plain?? Animal eyes are gorgeous, colorful, and have such a cool shape and little tiny hairs all around it, you can give expression without the eyebrows!
So helpful. Always giving the best tips and tricks. Keep it up man.
Thank you so much, I am going to pursue art as my carrier and you give me courage to keep going and moving forward. Doing practice and gaining experience, patience. Thank you so much for this journey, I learnt so many things that I couldn't have learnt in 10 years of my life.
Thank you! This helped a lot
Thank you so much Mr. Scott, I had to do human anatomy for my art class and your tutorials are just so simple and easy to understand
This tutorial is AMAZING its so easy once you get the hang of it ( try practicing drawing circles) 10/10 very good 👍🏻
Scott, thanks for the updated version of this video, keep the good work!
Your videos are amazing, they have helped me improve my art so much! Thank you!
I find it difficult to make the eye look like a left eye or a right eye. Thanks for this it helped a lot!
Thank you!! This is actually super helpful c:

Amazing work! Thanks for the tutorial ❤
This actually helps me so much, thank you 😃
Thanks Mr Scott, I want to be a artist when I grow up I really appreciate Your art . I also like to draw eyes 👁 Your videos really help me in drawing 👩🎨
I’m new to art, but I’ve played music most of my life. One of my favourite feelings in the world is when I finally “get” a specific part of a song or chord or something. Like when I can finally play it perfectly. Just got that same feeling after following this video a couple times and practicing. I finally did one that looked like an eye and it made me smile and give a little laugh. I finally “got it”!
Thanks for the tip your tips are always so helpful
When I started doing circles at the eye areas in my first rough sketch, my faces started looking much better

This is great! Can you do an ear tutorial? When I draw ears they always stick straight out and look too exaggerated, and the shading of the curve inside the ear looks wonky too.
Thank you this really helped
Thanks for simplify the process thanks
I love your tips❤
This is perfect because I’m having problems drawing eyes so thank you ✨

hey scott! could you please review the pencilmarch watercolour set? you don’t have to but it’s my current set as a student! love your videos, lots of support from the UK!!! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Wow thanks that was very helpful
And for a creepy vibe do all of the shows upsidow as if the person was hanging upside-down but not underneath anything. Like a hand stand.
Hey scott! I went to the movies yesterday with friends and decided i wanted to try drawing the theater we went too cause i was inspired by you going out and drawing places! It was a lot of fun and i got a lot of practice drawing buildong whichnill need for the profession i wanna go into! The top lids from the side view stick out farther to protect what's underneath it. But, other than that, nice tutorial. :)
Any tips on jaw lines/chins? That’s where I have the most trouble

For the side view eye, my phone had a crack that lined up with how a nose would look on it
Thank you soooo much :D
