Just purchased everything you recommended, I hope you get the affiliate bonus 😊 I’m glad you made it so easy because I was down the rabbit hole of “too much information” so many options on equipment to start a podcast.
Looking to start a KZread podcast soon. This is amazing. I love that they’re great quality but don’t break the bank. Thank you for this!! So helpful!!

This really helped me. I was torn between upgrading to a Samsung 23 plus or buying a bunch of equipment for podcasting. Thanks. This saved me some bucks.
I’ve used the Samsung Q2U mic and my iPhone for recording voice overs and even used both when recording reaction videos. Great video and great mic! 👍

This video deserves to go viral is super helpful ❤🙌🏽✨
1:03 mic recommendation: Samson Q2U XLR/USB $60-70 2:58 Comica LinkFlex XLR mic smartphone adapter $50 AD2 or $80 AD3 2-channel. 2xQ2U & AD3 ~$220 & tax.
Very helpful content thank you 😊 I’m so excited
Thanks for sharing such valuable content here. Greetings from Michigan.
For a solo podcaster, does it make sense to invest in the Focusrite Scarlett Solo and Cloudlifter? I use the Samson Q2U, and I want to make sure I get the best possible audio quality. Or will the Samson Q2U work fine if I just plug it into my laptop via the USB cable and hit record?
I have Been able to use the audio jack on the mic with recording on my iPhone and use phantom power on the comica
Thank you so much for this video I so want to start one but on a budget so thanks again
Bro this is amazing! Thank you and God bless you!
The converter that allows you to connect the mic to the smartphone was clutch!! Thanks for this tip
Thank you so much!!! This helps me so much as I start my leadership podcast. I have a Rebel cannon camera but I don’t really know how to use it. I will most likely use my phone. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I purchase the exact same components looking at this video. The mic, the interface and dongle. I have an iPhone. But my iPhone 13 when I playback the video it’s having a white noise. It’s driving me insane. Please help.
Hi Omar, I purchased everything you mentioned in the video. But, can you please do a detailed video on how to set it up if you haven’t already? I tried following the instruction manual but, I can’t seem to power on the mic and get it to work. Thank you
Thanks for breaking It down like this! already had the mic, just wasnt sure how to record with phone and the mic
💙Thank you Omar! This will help so many creators💎
Awesome advice. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend. 🥰
Do you have a video that explains what the person on the other end of your virtual podcast would need? Example: If you are using StreamYard, what kind of set up do they need to have to be successful? Thank you!

Yes! Wondering the same
I really need to invest in a good Mic thank you for the suggestions.
I like it that your voice is nice and clear
At 01:18 you show it as a SAMSUNG mic not a SAMSON Q2U mic. Would you compare this mic to the slightly higher priced Samson Q9U. This was helpful. Are there other portable dual mic mixers similar to the Comica?
Thanks alot, really appreciate this video.
You mention recoding in mono allows you to adjust the levels on each person - you would actually need to record in stereo to do this, not mono
So I did all this, and I’m asking, when I plug in everything, does the mic light need to be on cause it’s not on when I turn on the adapter and everything
Thank you so much for the clarification 🙌🏾
You don’t understand how this helped I have a condensed mic and I would have to hook up my Scarlett interface and sync audio with video (which I’m not that good at) now I kno I don’t have to do that. For future reference do u have a video on how to sync audio n video in Final Cut Pro?
Question: what if your iPhone input records up to 30 mins of video? My iPhone 11 only records up to 30 mins. Not sure if that is just the time limit or if I can fix that to make it unlimited? My podcast’s episodes definitely run much longer than 30 mins. Also I use a Zoom LiveTrak L-8 to plug my XLR mic into to record. How can I still use this while connecting to a camera device to ensure quality sound is coming through video as well?
Mr Omar thanks for your help, but I'd like to know how to I can create a podcast if I don't have a laptop to connect the microphone and stuff
Just what I needed!!
did you have video that suggest computer the think to edit more quickly what minimum you need aa a computer i do video of pattern so needat least 20 min minimum
Whoever find this comment. Lets keep doing what we have to do. We will make it. Integrity team lets go.....
Hey Omar, bought everything in the video, but I was wondering if you could make a video on setting everything up to get an episode rolling out.
Great info, thanks for sharing!
What’s the best recommendation for a microphone splitter to connect to the AD3 for a third mic ?
At 1:15 you misspelled the name of the microphone as Samsung instead of Samson. The video is awesome as usual !!!

4:38 how can both people monitor audio at the same time with separate headphones? Do you just need a splitter, or is there something else I'm missing?
So I want to start a podcast and use my iphone 14 pro max as well as my go pro 8. Since the CoMica Linkflex has only 1 cable going into either a phone or camera, how would I be able to set up BOTH phone and go pro to the microphones?
Nice vid. Thanks!
Ain’t no body in Limerick doing it like this ⬆️⬆️🔥🔥

How do you connect the multiple cameras? Or rather, what are you connecting them to? Directly to the computer? or is there another device they are connected to?
TC Helicon Go Vocal is same than this Comica, but with legendary preamp.
Can you plug 2 different mics into it? Like a usb and an xlr mic:(
Great video! Very helpful
So all of this is perfect but I’m looking to do reaction videos. How would I use this setup to accomplish that? Great video!
How do you use the back camera of your iPhone if you have a guest over Zoom? Especially because the mic will be connected to the phone correct? Don't Zoom calls use the front facing camera?
So how about if you’re using 3 people??
Newbie here...I bought the 2 mic setup. We plugged our headphones in and here comes the newbie question...are we supposed to be able to hear both ourselves and the other person? Just ourselves? or just the other person in the headphones.
So how do I link this to my iPhone so the phone picks up the audio for instagram etc ?
Thank you for this info!
How are you bale to keep the mics so close to each other without picking top one another's voice?
So I bought the Samson Q2Us and the Comics Link Flex AD3. Only issue I am having is the sound quality when I use a 3.5mm to iPhone 15 adaptor is way worse than if I plug the AD3 straight into a laptop and use GarageBand. Any advise?
How would I use 2 iPhones for the podcast? Also can I use GarageBand for editing? 1st time podcasting.
Wow. Đó là một video tuyệt vời. Tôi sẽ làm podcast trong năm nay. Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều! 👏💕
Great video, I may just actually start podcasting. Question, how would I have a remote guest using this set up?
What’s the difference in audio if I use the XLR connected to the Comica LinkFlex compared to connecting to my iPhone through USB using a Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter ??? Please help
For the algorithm! 👍🏾
If you're mic have the USB cable can you still use it
This guy doesn’t miss.
I have a question, if i don't wanna do video podcast, would it work to use a USB lightning adapter directly on my phone? Using the samson mic.
Thanks for video very helpful
Thank you!
The comics linkflex works connected to a MacBook? 🙏🏻 thank you for the tips!
Does this set mic & XLR work with andriod?
Now when you say this works with a camera, would this apply to a DJI pocket 2?
I have a question how do you add lil video clips from like movies ets to your podcast for comic effect??? All answers welcome
Is it possible to use a USB-A to lightning adapter and plug straight into an iPhone with the Q2U?
What if I wanna record it for 3 people ? Any recommendations? I’m planning to start a podcast soon . Thank you in advance 😊
speaking of streaming, I wonder if this setup would be great for social streaming apps like BIGO, MICO, Uplive, or Poppo Live
Silly question, is it possible to podcast using an android phone?
Thanks for creating this video! The product links don't seem to be working now. When I looked up Samsung Q2U microphone, it keeps leading me to a product called Samson Q2U ...is this the one you meant?
was this video shoot on iphone?
What could be similar to the comica linkflex because they don’t sell it on Amazon anymore

Because I really need that I wanna start a podcast
Great video, thanks!!
Im very confused when it comes to setting up for podcasting. I am looking at the Rode podast mic, NT1 and the At2040/At2020. I want a Mic that can connect straight to my Sony Zv1 camera for podcasting. I understand you need a USB mic for this. If I need too, how do I use a Audio Interface/phantom power when the only equipment I have is the Sony Zv1 and a Mic. Do audio interfaces only connect to the computer or can I connect it straight to the camera? Cheers.
Bruh, that's a SAMSON not Samsung guys!!! @think media
Is this filmed then on your iphone
hey, does the linkflex work with the rode podmic?
Hi Omar, I wanna start my podcast with KZread channel at same time, so my question is: I got blue yeti microphone with lighting adapter. So could I can use that tools for produce podcast?
So which recorder do we use with this?
I think is "Samson" and not "Samsung" right? I am sorry if I am wrong. 😁
What mic would you recommend for iPad if I’m playing through a PA system 10-12ft from the mic?
I am looking to start my podcast and I had one question that maybe you or someone in the comments could answer for me. Where does the audio store if you are just using a mike and an Iphone? Thanks in advance!
What did you film this video with, thanks.
Why do u need power phantom?? I heard from other videos, power phantom is not needed and not useful for dynamic mics
