Wx-78 has a passive ability which makes all clockwork entities have a lower aggression towards him. I believe that repairing clockworks in the ruins is exclusive to him but I do not remember. Wx-78 is tricky to use right and can be alright

Great advice! Sadly lightning won’t overcharge WX anymore and will only restore charge on his meter in DST :( However all characters can repair broken clockworks as Allies :D

Other characters can repain the clockworks too if i'm correct, and it's good to renember to not eat straight up rot, it will still be bad even for WX.

Do make sure you use the heating and cooling circuits. He can literally completely ignore winter and summer with them, all he needs is the chip and he never has to make clothes or anything. Also his getting wet downside is practically non-existent, by the time you get to spring you have eyebrella, and with that you basically can't get wet.

Why this is got me hooked I just enjoy your shorts even I'm not playing

Wx mains on their way to do reserch on wich circit combos are more optimized for him

Tldr For wx circuits, I always go first night vision, then lvl2 speed. First thing I do in a world is scan a rabbit, trap it, turn it to speed, leave it in my inventory, find and kill spiders for webs for big catcher, find and scan mole, survive night, next day get materials for hammer and rest of bug net, search for rook, scan and kill it if I find one if not I just wait till I reach ruins, then I get fireflies and mole for night vision, make it, install it, then install lvl2 speed if I find that too.

I tried a lightout world with WX when the update was first released and that’s exactly what I did then I realized lights out with that circuit literally defeats the purpose of lights out😂

@@poxartxe oh yeah night vision destroys like half the difficulty and you can get it as early as day 2, even the first night if you are really set on just getting night vision. The caves or so much easier with it too, and since speed will always be your greatest tool, all of the other upgrades are kind of bad, and yes that includes 500 health. You don't need to be a tank if they can't hit you

@@kirby-impostor5594 other combos work too, like passive light source and music box for become a sanity station for your team, but speed and night vision really is just the best in just about every situation

I believe that WX-78 would be better if they had gears as an exclusive craft. To balance this, gears should be very expensive to make and WX-78 should no longer be able to eat them.

All Im going to say, Beanbooster, speed circuit, and the small health one is my favorite combo.

My go to loadout for caves: chorusbox, illumination & hardies

This dude is a MACHINE

There could totally be a mode for the game that would be similar to Wolfgang. But you are escanor from 7 deadly sins. As the day goes through you get stronger and stronger untill mid day. At mid day you are strongest and have regenerating health and are way better at things like chopping trees and mining. You also do a ton of damage with ur hits. But then you get weaker and weaker as the day ends and you are the absolute weakest character during the night. Although nighttime is when all the big scary stuff comes out. It could make for choosing to do certain things at certain times.

Contrary to how a lot of people interpret it, WX refers to other appliances in ingame dialogue as either _"MOTHER", "BROTHER", "SISTER"_ and _"FRIEND",_ which demonstrates their use of they/them as independent of their nature as an automaton. I just thought that was pretty neat. =>

Don’t hold the gears hostage in a public world, leave a rook alive so new WX’s can scan it, the hunger circuits aren’t as good as you think, the thermal circuits are more convenient than you realise, having even a single speed circuit makes all the difference

​@@scourix1kkkdifferent circuits give different perks. Gastrogain circuits increase hunger, hardy increase health and processing circuits increase sanity. Also, WX-78 needs chargue for the circuits to work. They gain 1 chargue every 90 seconds as long as they are not wet or starving, up to a maximum of 6 chargues. The circuits need different amounts of chargue to work. For example, a circuit that uses 3 spaces will need 3 chargues.

Other WX facts: Wx is NOT a coop character. The rework gave him some Team related abilitys but they are so bad and not worth it to use. Wx can beat tank dfly with 1 marble suit and 5 football helms with NO healing foods when done right. The best Ruins combo for WX is 1 speed 1 Nightvision Or 1 night vision 1 Health mk2
