Bernie is an awesome addition to the F1 commentary/punditry. So many excellent insights from her side over the past couple of years, refreshing to get the opinion of someone other outside of the standard driver/TP role we seem to see all the time.

Agree - i really love what she brings to it, shes great. Refreshing for a long time F1 fan that sick of hearing of couple of the echo chambers that have arrived in the pundits group in recent years!! Ex racers and tech team make for great race weekend comments

I dont actually agree, the reason we have that focus is beacuse they are usually the most successful and thats generally what the public wants. she hasnt had much success really, some, but not enough to grab attention of the public, only the more heeky amongst us would know who she is

@@PazLeBon I'd much rather listen to Ant Davidson and Karun Chandok than Damon Hill. Personally I don't see that outright success in F1 correlates to their value as a commentator/pundit.

Bernie and James Vowels both have that same ability to explain really complex engineering concepts in a very understandable way without making the audience feel like it’s being dumbed down. One of the best additions to the broadcast team in recent years.

Bernie has quickly become one of my new favorite F1tv personalities. She's got amazing amount Insight and knowledge.

I'm glad engineers are getting more representation on main stream F1 coverage. They make up such a vital aspect of the sport and can provide tremendous insight. Bernie does a fantastic job communicating her knowledge and it's fantastic to hear. Very happy she's back this year.

I hope we get more on air commentary from Bernie during the season! We were so happy for the races with her in 2023! She brings amazing insight and has a fabulous voice and personality too!!!

AHHH BERNIE IS THE BEST! Love hearing about some of the low tech that goes into F1. The paint pen idea is genius! Trackside engineering is so underrated these days. I loved seeing Alpha Tauri tape Yukis car up in Baku and was honestly shocked to see fans have a negative reaction to it. American motorsport things I guess...

Can't wait for Bernie to tell us about the tyres. One week to go. We want Bernie on the TV on high rotation. Pay attention Sky

Bernie has the loveliest voice and accent. Not only is she easy to listen to, she really knows her stuff and can explain it all with crystal clarity.

I find Bernie’s knowledge a breath of fresh air to the sky commentary team. Plus I could listen to her voice all day long ❤ Hope we have a great F1 season

I think Adrian Newey seen Mercedes pod design last year and has looked at it as a sort of challenge to get the design to work on the red bull as just improving the car from last year's design would just be to easy for him.

Come on SkySportsF1, you're on the internet now, there's no reason to keep the podcasts so short, we'd be happy to listen to Bernie's insights for 1-2hrs, easily

Bernie is altogether lovely!

for anyone wanting to try a basic DIY flow viz at home try with titanium dioxide, kerosene & oleic acid in proportion of 50g,20-25ml,1/2drops (dont remember exactly) it looks like milk, the final product, you can then add a colour pigment. Also worth noting that the composition varies based on outside atmospheric conditions. apply on you car bumper or on the area after the wheel arch and see how it goes. You cannot get it right the first time but eventually you will get there. TiO2 is safe, you can use low viscosity oil to subsitute for kerosene for safety, but shake the mixture well to break the Titanium di-oxide -\also the quantity mentioned above is very small for you to try it out to get the right consistency and proportion, u need to scale it up to have a proper batch for good coverage
