Yes EM is important to swirl characters but *imo* you also have to care a bit on ER% too for better rotation

@@ShivalikMathur It’d be better if you used Favonius with an EM sands. You’ll get more ER and EM that way than doing it the other way around with Iron Sting and an ER sands. But if you have lots of EM on your ER sands then that’s probably good enough to keep. And ofc if you have Freedom Sworn it’s better to keep that on and go for an ER sands. Just some friendly advice whether you know abt it already or not.

As long the enemies got interuption resistance then yea its good. Overload on small mobs that can get knocked away easily is so annoying fr. But overload on swirl is so satisfying, my sucrose loves that alot

Leveling your character to 90 also scale with the reactions damage

Only for transformative reactions though. Melt, Vaporize, Aggravate and Spread don't care about character level.

Yesss I found my people. My usual team is Lisa, yanfei, Xiao, wanderer. I’ll sub in Mona or yae miko for someone but I’d say generally use overloaded and swirl teams! My Lisa hits HARD!

Your electro characters will highly benefit from EM as most reactions they produce are Transformative: overload, electrocharged, superconduct which rely on character level and EM only (ATK and CRIT stats dont factor into the damage, because these instances of damage are separate from the elemental attack that triggers them). Melt and Vaporize are Amplifying reactions, and dmg is calculated using EM of the character triggering the reaction. These instances of dmg can CRIT.

This was actually quite useful. I hope your channel will get big

For vape and melt teams I would rather recoment 75% of your crit damage as EM (basicly a 1.5/2 ratio). Means If you have 200% crit damage, you want to have 150 EM. If you have 100% crit damage, you want 75 EM

Most useful Genshin video I’ve seen - an accidental up incoming Kazoo-ha main

If your Kazuha is c0 do not 100℅ focus on EM, ER is also really important for him, 160-190 is a sweet spot for Kazuha and i'd highly recommend fav/sac sword over iron sting. Or even his signature

my Mona Lisa combo is crying in the corner since the only ones mattered according to this video were Swirl, Vaporize and Melt😭💔

thanks everytime i read the em description my mind glazes it over and i forget to soak up the info i think i got the gist now lol considering i will always plan on having kazuha or venti on my teams

Also, keep in mind that the first 100em is almost always more important than atk% and crit DMG most of the time

Also, vaporize and melt are the only reaction that can go along with crits. Swirls, Superconduct and Overload cannot crit, so do not build crit on someone like Venti and Sucrose.

Some characters also scale off EM. So keep an eye out in the stats for what characters need.

I legit needed this. I’ve been wondering exactly how EM worked.

EM has most impact on second line reactions (Swirl, Overload, Shatter, Electro-charged and Superconduct) But First line reactions (Vaporise, Melt) still have enough scaling from the EM

I thought that elemental mastery was how precisely the character will hit. Because my Yanfei would never hit the thing you need to light up in dragonspine. 💀

Another thing to know is that transformative reactions (swirl, superconduct, overloaded, etc) benefit from your character’s levels

Damn so all I needed to have crazy damage with my Venti was a lot of EM but I didn’t even know what that did. I’ll have to give that a try

A slight footnote on the stack em for Kaz thing, the plung from his e can crit and has a really good multiplier so a bit of crit on him is good

back to 1.0 when i start genshin i didn't even care about EM and when 1.2 now i understand why Reaction Character need EM..

Here i am building em for overcharged and seeing my enemies flies miles away lol

its also important for bloom and hyperbloom because this reaction only increase damage by how much EM char trigger it and level char also elemental damage which is dendro because bloom and hyperbloom DO NOT crit but it ignore enemy defense

Hydro triggering vaporize has done more damage in my party (Bennett, Xingqui, Fischl, Nahida )

I never focus on EM but I still do big dmg lmao

Elemental mastery is gotta catchem all

ALSO em damage increases based on your max level. So like kuki hyperbloom at level 70 was doing like 16k but at level 90 I'm hitting 35k

Mona is the one proc'ing my swirl reactions normally since im laying out venti's burst first. And then i do reverse vape with Yoimiya since i now have hydro running constantly.

Dendro is also a very EM heavy element now

Elemental Mastery also increases range for characters who use area of effect characters like Venti, Kazuha, Sayu, Qiqi and Albedo
