For the majority of cases, an oral assessment is not required. you can check your requirements in the self-assessment test on their site. we have explained the self-assessment test in our first video on the DHA exam.

Before license I worked in India. After shifting to Dubai I started working within 3 months. During that time I got the license process completed.

The eligibility letter is valid for 1 year. Later we can renew. Currently the fee to be paid is 220AED for renewal for 1 year and some CDE(continuing dental education) points. But the rules keep on changing. So, better to check on their website or to call DHA.

What do you mean by oral assessment in DHA exam? How is it conducted? Are oral assessment and prometric exam same in DHA?

Hi Doc, Currently, the Majority of licenses from India don't require Oral assessment. Prometric exams and oral assessments are both different. Prometric exam pattern is similar to the NEET exam.

Hi Doc, I have used only the study material to clear. But there s no harm doing more, as the pattern has changed from this year onwards.

Hi doc, even working in a clinic is considered. You can ask for a work experience letter from the clinics which they can print on their letterhead, which is regarded as proof of work experience.

Nowadays Most licensing doesn't require oral assessment. But U can check with the DHA(800342) to know if you require oral assessment or not.

Doc, In Dubai, specialist is similar to MDS with min 2 years exp required. but for consultants they have certain other criteria as well which has to be fulfilled if someone wants to practice as consultant in Dubai.You can check their official website for further details.
