I play Abbasid and it feels like I could play this civ without feeling lost but it's still different so I'm really happy about this "variant" stuff

Nice to have a variant of Abbasid in particular, since they were very set in their boomy gameplan. Ayubbids look great, and the wings remind me of AoE3 politicians/shipments, but with even more of a unique spin since they have some landmark qualities as well.

I recently saw a old Outback Octagon video and it was where to put down a wonder with 5 people still alive. Did an amazing job in that video. Keep up the great videos and battles

Compared to the Golden Age gimmick of the Abbasids, the Ayyubids version is stronger but staggered across five tiers.

How do you stop Desert Raider reinforcements from keep spawning when you don't want more of them lol? Or there's no option?

I can already see the wonder sieges with 20 of those towers

Ayyubid Age up is straight out of Aoe3; the concept is verbatim.

I wonder if switching the Desert Raider stance is going to have issues with attack speed, where it might allow you to cancel the "backswing" of attacks like what had happened with Scouts and Elephants.

don't think so, since villagers have can't animation cancel when hunting deer as well. So I think they fixed it generally

Pretty disappointed about the siege melee armor technology, you can only apply it to one siege and you can't on the other ones for a cool down and it costs resources too?

Did you actually show the ghulam at all in this? I feel like I missed it

There profile match history, but all the new content is being played on a build we don't have access to so you won't be able to get a replay for the new civs yet
