This movie is an instant classic. One of the best movies ive ever seen!!!

Some things you could have added is Brad Pitt was in a bidding war with Leo over the script and was very interested in playing Belfort. Also Chris Evans and Joseph Gordon-Levitt both auditioned to play Donnie Azoff.

That’s unfortunately more a poor reflection of our post capitalist system. I mean don’t feel bad for Jonah he forgoed most of his salary for more box office cuts. But keep in mind probably less than 1% of people get any time in Hollywood and of those maybe .0001% become big. This is probably just a minimum from some old day rooks. That being said the actors guild is a really important union bettering actor pay and benefits. I wish your industry and job got the same benefits. Me I’m disabled so I’m fucked can’t work. Too bad our late capitalist hell hole of a country has no social safety net.

You're very misleading, you said one scene got out of hand causing Jonah to get punched in the face. Jonah Hill and the guy that punched him have both given interviews and said that the punch wasn't looking real enough on camera and Martin Scorsese asked Jonah if he would take a real punch to the face for the camera. Jonah Hill said he didn't love the idea but since Scorsese himself asked him and he held Scorsese in such high regard that he had to do it as to not let down the great Martin Scorsese... Right before the take Jonah yelled out "everybody this take is going to be the real deal" as to make sure everyone was ready to film it and they didn't have to do a second take with him actually getting punched... 😂
