Well either way it is just a animated movie. It's obviously going to have flaws because its a "cartoon" with a grinch.😂 your not really supposed to look so deep into it but its fun to critic. It's like seeing a cartoon character fall from the Empire State Building with no death or injury, stupid but funny to critic.

Well, just like in the Lorax video, there is SOME rhyming, but doing the entire video in rhyme like he and Doug did for the live-action Grinch is anything but easy.

He seems so less...grinch in this version. The animated version was perfect, he was sinister and mean. The live action version was halarious and almost creepy. This version seems really safe and whats worse than the grinch is cindy. She is nothing like her original character the grinch gets caught red handed by.

Exactly. I would have liked a animated version of the real life movie but theh changed the story and it wasn't that good. It was about the Grinch and how he didn't like Christmas, now it feels like a movie about how single mothers have challenging lives. Nothing wrong with that but it has absolutely nothing to do with what the original Grinch movies were about

Now I know a lot of people will yell at me for this but please remember this is my opinion. I think that CinemaSins sucks. They manipulate scenes or just lie about the scene they are showing. They are not satire or parody cus they put real sins in with the joke ones. Plus most of their sins are real criticisms, But the thing is that they get most of their “real criticisms” wrong. It’s to make you buy it then it comes back the 26th ps there’s a collective tin so I smell capitalism (joke to those that don’t understand this I went to Walmart and saw like 70 collectible grinch movie tins and thought hey that a funny coincidence but here’s context for those how assume I’m being negative)

It's more likely that whenever they signed a deal to get the movie it started in the middle of December of that year and expired X years afterwards. I imagine that the rights holders signed a new deal with another streaming service instead of Netflix.

I love how each of the movies after the original, forget how he stole their food, light bulbs and flowers peddles, things that have nothing to do with Christmas

For some reason, my grandma loves this movie to death, and made me and my grandpa to watch it one night for Christmas. This is coming from a guy who loves the original special to death, and while I didn't hate this film, I felt like it could've been so much more.

I thought this movie was overall pretty enjoyable but that was horrendous.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Barret wrote on this one. And I'm less sure about this, but I think Deneé also wrote on this.

Dear CinemaSins, I just watched Disney’s “Noelle” and it was very sin-worthy, lots of cringe. Please give it a look!

13:20 That is my main issue with this movie. The Grinch shows that he has a heart before the time when his heart is suppose to grow. He apologizes to Max for his behavior and he lets the reindeer go when he sees that it has a family. The point of the original story, animated short included, was that he didn't have much of a heart, a very small heart to the point that he hated everything, especially Christmas and Whos. To the live action version's credit, that Grinch didn't get a heart until the end of the movie, he was mean throughout the entire movie right until the end like in the book. Even with the backstory they gave him. Sure you can argue that he rescued Cindy Lou in the mailroom but Max forcefully encouraged him to. Both movies have their flaws but I still prefer the Jim Carrey version as despite the additions, it stuck closer to the heart of the original story better than this new version. But the animated short will always reign supreme.

He still HAS a heart though. He didn't magically get one from nothing, the one he already had grew. The fact that he has or heeds Max AT ALL is proof of that.

I just spent literally all night (3am-8am) reading the first Ables book on my Kindle, and I absolutely loved it. I was born half blind, and have dealt with a lot of frankly shitty things because of it. I found your characters, obviously Philip especially, to be relatable and wonderful. The final act of your book was thrilling and entertaining, and was genuinely one of the best binge-readings I’ve ever done. I’m spending all my Christmas money on the next two books, and I’m so excited to see where you go in this world you’ve created. Genuinely, thank you very much.
