Everything Wrong With The Flash in 19 Minutes or Less

Фильм және анимация

What can we say about The Flash that hasn't already been said? It's a movie. A lot of stuff happens. And dead people are CGI'd into the movie awkwardly. Let's get to the sin-counting.
Thursday: sci-fi-ish sequel from the aughts.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

That particular ding on that microwave seems to indicate that it is a non-digital timer and, thus, does not require electricity. The digital timers are accompanied by multiple beeps so it is easier for someone to know that the timer is going off. Mechanical timers just have something to hit at the end for a singular ding, which is what we hear in the movie.

They really should have used Eobard Thawne. The was the speedster who killed Barry's mother, and that evil Barry appearing only made time-travel rules more confusing. They could have had Thawne be the one who meddled farther in the past to make the pre-tomato changes like Eric Stoltz in Back to the Future all because Barry put his father in the way of Thawne's plans.

  • @detective_mitch_conner

Michael Keaton batman explained why. In this movies version of time travel, you create a branching timeline that branches backwards and forwards through time, changing past, present, and future. Although, to be fair, something no movie ever gets right is that the very fact of traveling through time would do this. Existing for even a single picosecond in an alternate time is no different than moving a box of cereal. Something has changed. And that something is you being somewhere you never where before. By this movies logic, even going back a single second would create countless alternate timelines, all with a unique albeit sometimes diverging past, present, and future. This is all under the guise of a single timeline not existing

If you can overlook the ugly VFX, the nostalgia pandering, the nostalgia cameos not even having a satisfying payoff, the jarring tonal shifts, the lead being a complete psychopath and an uncompelling hero, the depressing message about not trying to change your fate, the same message being unlearned at the end, the ghoulish CGI faces of dead actors, the fact that a Batgirl movie was cancelled for this, and every WB employee and their mom hyping this up as the greatest superhero movie ever at the expense of everything else… …then it’s a decent movie. I rate it 4 falling babies out of 10.
