It was a lot like the Shadow Dragon arc in GT IMO because it was an accident.

Man, seeing these vids just reminds me how awesome hand-drawn animation can really be. I don't have issues in some cases of CG like in Z: Infinity, just this has a level of quality newer Dragonball lacks.

Exactly, and that also applies to movies in general as well. Remember how good the old animated Disney movies looked? Then Pixar happened and hand-drawn animated movies died. I really miss hand-drawn movies and when it comes to CGI in anime, it almost never looks good. Modern anime needs to stop using CGI as a crutch.

I die a little inside when hearing Linda Young's Freiza voice. I'm too used to the magnificence of Chris Ayer's Freiza by this point.

That part when you questioned where’s Majin Buu, this movie probably takes place in an alternate timeline where Vegeta managed to kill Majin Buu with Self-Sacrifice Explosion. I feel like the Majin Buu Saga should have ended right there, but Toriyama gave Vegeta’s honorable death the giant middle finger and Majin Buu a broken ass regenerative ability.

What makes Supers Gogeta better than THIS Gogeta? He’s got more action and screen time.

​@Gardetrace actually Sean Schemmel never passed out in the recording booth for this film, he stated in an interview years ago that it was the Super Saiyan 4 transformation that caused him to pass out to to it being too hot in the recording booth

Keep it up with the still frames, and keep being careful with those clips. And also, I love how you removed 55 sins in total for this movie, because of how much I love this movie. I especially loved how you removed 48 sins for Sean Schemmel's awesome screaming going on for 48 seconds straight.

Maybe meaning of "rebirth" is reference to the fact that the fusion dance was used here for creation of Gogeta? As in the second ever fused z fighter besides Gotenks? So in some way, the "rebirth" could be understandable. A bit weird but understandable.

I'll be honest, I don't mind the Fusion Dance being compared to water ballet, it's a dumb dub edit but it kinda gives the Fusion Dance some form of symbolism if that makes any sense

I honestly like the water ballet explanation of the technique considering techniques don’t tend to be explained on a conceptual level. But it’s definitely out of place af

The reason the movie is called fushion reborn is because of us seeing a fushion again dosent matter what character it is sure gogeta's first appearance is this movie but it says fushion reborn because of a fusion being seen because gotenks first appeared before this movie takes place

This is actually my favorite Z movie.

This movie could have fit into the cannon the only reason why it’s non cannon it hurts is because of the scenes on earth with the zombies, they could have removed those scenes and this movie would have been cannon (like Bojack unbound)

2:10 King Yemma probably had a few budget cuts when it came to quality workers after the main Z-Fighters got brought back so many times

I don't if you knew it but there's a lot of errors animation... When goku talks with vegeta in the pink cubes there scenes where goku has orange shirt and after a moment, he hasn't the orange shirt... Another error is goku uses teleport since thes spikes until the pink cubes and it's impossible because he must feel the ki of someone to teleport and there was no one in the pink cubes Animation error And plot error

If you die when you're already dead, you're erased from existence. That was revealed in the Majin Buu Arc.

Gardetrace you comment at 8:22 is false. Goku turns Super Saiyan 3 at the start of the buu saga and he is dead at that point and it's also not long after Vegeta sacrificed himself. So yes it is possible for both the Saiyans to be dead and for Goku to say that only Buu has pushed him this far. This movie would be put around that timeline. You are right that it doesn't take place after but with Goku and Vegeta being dead would place this at either the start of middle of the buu saga

Why’s he the only one who should call him? He didn’t call him to revive Bora, or give the Great Demon King Piccolo his youth back, or revive Goku, or revive the Freeza Force’s victims, or Cell’s or Boo’s victims, or anything. In fact, Gohan’s only seen Shen Long ONCE up to this point in the timeline.

Yes, but BOTH Goku and Vegeta are dead at this point, and that wasn't the case until Vegeta sacrificed himself in the Majin Boo Arc, so during those events, leading to Goku being revived, then later Vegeta, there's nowhere this movie can fit.

For this movie to have taken place, either Gotenks or Ultimate Gohan would’ve had to have beaten Boo, since he was still running around near the time this movie thinks it’s taking place.

Fusion Reborn is definitely a good movie (even if that doesn't save it from being sinned). Unlike DBS Broly, here Gogeta actually gets the job done. The only reason he is even in DBS Broly is to sell more action figures IMO. I do agree that the only reason Veku exists is to pad out the screen time, but it's still kind of funny to see Veku's rather humorous attempts to evade Janemba's attacks. Also the only way I was able to make the Trunks and Goten vs Hitler scene funnier was by making a Downfall Parody with it. Otherwise Hitler getting his ass kicked by Trunks and Goten is funny because he deserves to be mocked.
