I actually watched a Christian explain the true meaning of Deuteronomy on her KZread cannel. Apparently, every word does not mean what it means. Who would have thunk? And it should mean a lot more to them, then it does to evangelical Christians...) 2nd, even if Moses once said all those things, no one could write down his speech. Ok I think you need to understand that our way of thinking also decides our basic morals. If you see God as bad because he is narcissistic that's your hunan brain your very limited human brain. As God created us I don't give a toss if he's narcissistic ill do what he says cause im not tryna be punished. I struggle with religion because I'm trying to find one that works, I believe in God but I want to find a religion that is best because I don't want to fucking upset my creator. Our dumb little human brains saying God is narcissistic because he wants his creations to fucking do what he says is stupid. Its like you're animating something and it doesn't do what you want it too, it's your creation even if it has a brain it still should do what you want or you would definetly be frustrated.

    1. Can you grow kiwi in Palestine? That would be sweet. Literally. I can eat an entire kiwi on my own, including skin if I'm hungry. I freaking love them. I kind of assume the priests eat the food after the people leave, though, because, remember, the priests are predominantly Levites, and God said they can't have their own stuff. I guess this is where the Catholic vow of poverty comes from for a priest...? No idea, though. 2. God gives them the land peacefully, eh...? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...sigh. Wait till Joshua. Next book. You're ALMOST out of the Pentateuch, almost. Getting real close. 3. One thing I do like is the "tenth of your stuff" thing. It set up not only the precedent for modern taxing in a lot of different countries, but also the almsgiving standard in Islam. They're meant to take 10% of their wealth every year to give to the poor. I like Islam for its equity politics, because, along with the alms, the fasting during the month of Ramadan is supposed to remind them of the suffering of the poor. You don't eat from sun-up to sun-down, you're going to feel it. At my college, students were even exempt from some assignments during Ramadan, but we had a high Muslim population. Oh, and in Islam, this is once EVERY year, not once every three years. I really need to read the Qur'an. Get some perspective. It's a hell of a lot shorter than the Bible.

Hemant or friendly atheist Aww Hemant, you almost made a correct introduction this time with “Finally we are back to a normal chapter in the Bible where it’s all about worshipping God and giving God whatever He wants and talking about how awesome God is.” And then you ruin it with your suggestion of your perception and understanding of what the Bible’s about. Interesting Hemant, so now you’re saying who usually gives and receives gifts when moving into a new place, along with the notion that it’s your old plums and yet you confuse plums with kiwi while fighting to keep them: “But you will have to pry my kiwis from my cold, dead hands.” “Because no one’s gonna eat it.” And what makes you think that? “Sure we could give it to the poor and hungry. But God just wants to show you He’s powerful.” Interesting Hemant, you want to give your old plums which you confuse with kiwis that have to be forced out of your dead hand to the poor and hungry when previously you talked about the poor only getting the scraps and discarded foods off the ground, besides how can God be able to show anyone He’s powerful? Does He exist? “Who needs to hear this speech? Who’s the audience? There’s literally no one in the room who hasn’t heard all this, like, 100 times.” Really Hemant, you just answered your own question if you already know and if you don’t know how and what do you teach out of ignorance? There’s no mention of all the genocides and murders that were required for the Israelites to finally take control of the land.” Nicely said, perhaps because there were NO MURDERS in the first place. Interesting how you remember a detail of the person to set the basket before the Lord, and yet you forget about other details that you’ve read previously, like the type and amount of offering or how many murders were committed by God or the Israelites. However do you want to follow God’s rules and offerings? “and the people God doesn’t care about.” What makes you think that? “isn’t going to change the fact that I despise you.” Well don’t worry Hemant, when Jesus comes you’ll be free of all that is good, true, peaceful, loving and other such pleasantries. “I must have missed that.” Correct Hemant, as you missed countless other things. “It’s pointless.” Like your videos? If it is pointless why do you stick around the Bible and God so much, and especially put thoughts and words into the peoples minds and mouths?

We know exactly what the bible is about: murder, rape, incest, slavery, genocide, infanticide, misogyny, & bestiality . Oh yeah, what a "good book". 🙄

@@smochygrice465 First, who says you should? Second, why do you care about my opinion? If what Hemant and others say is true, then, as Cliffe pointed out, everybody’s end is the same no matter what. Third, if it is opinion, why didn’t Hemant include in the title or in the intro ‘My personal opinion’; and with that wouldn’t I be allowed to say my personal opinion about another’s personal opinion?

@@Daniel-cz7kd Um because it's the same reason there are so many different religions that spawned from one book. So one is only left to conclude, these are all personally interpretations. Just like yours and Hemant's. To me, not being a member of any denominations of a bible religion is irrelevant. If you are a member of a bible fan book club, why are you here?

@@smochygrice465 Interesting, where do you explain in “Um because it’s the same reason there are so many different religions that spawned from one book. So one is only left to conclude, these are all personal interpretations.” That you should care about mine? Understood, and what does relevance in membership of any denomination of bible religion have to do with your caring about my or Hemant’s opinion and what Cliffe points out? Good question, tell me, do I need a ‘why’, a reason, a purpose, a meaning, do you? If so why? As I’ve heard from other atheists, “we are what we are”, or we are here because we are here. Not much in the answers of why, much less in the answers of morality or right and wrong; however plenty in personal opinion and final destination as the Bible and apologists point out.

You do realize the bible is backed up by ancient biography and science, right. Maybe you should do more research before you deny history😂😂😂😂

You realize that the bible doesn't match history at all right? They never name the pharaoh in charge (because they needed it to always be applicable), at the alleged time this occured Canaan was RULED BY EGYPT so they never left it (and they are only like a week's walk away). And there is no historical evidence of a Hebrew enslavement in Egypt (and especially not building monuments since monument builders were well respected craftsmen! They even went on strike and were allowed to just bum off work. We have a record of excuses they gave and they include "I'm hungover" and "it's my kid's birthday") and no reference to the exodus. Not counting the fact that the basic story of Moses predates this one by thousands of years. That's just this story!! There's no way a global flood was possible (and even if it was, again, it predates this story by Millenia!) like science literally says it's physically impossible. And there are hundreds of contradictions within the bible itself, let alone history.
