One thing we had discussed in my local group is that while the Oubliex is a 5+, you roll that for every dice that would deal damage ... Which on a 3 attack weapon means it's a 70% chance to block one of those attacks. It compounds reasonably well

A fair point.

The Mandrakes have the hidden benefit of having a bunch of operatives that will easily get confused with each other. The Night Lords look like a really fun team.

I do agree that the mandrakes look quite samey, especially the leader he really doesn't stick out.

Vox scream is good to shut down enemy big guns, turn two shut down big guns while you charge across the board. turning point 3 still have points for nightmare manifest or we have come for you

Sounds good, although you might hope to be able to hide from the big guns using in midnight clad.

im going to say that the 1CP "recon" dash tac ploy is probably going to get errata'd to once per game, like sneaky git for kommandos night lords might edge out legionaries if they have no marks of chaos locking out certain aspects because you chose a certain mark

We can be fairly certain Night Lords don't have access to marks of Chaos, because they would have mentioned it on the battlereport surely?

Great catch on the synergy between We Have Come For You and the Black Hunt. This team will have a very explosive turn 2, i cannot wait to try them. Lovely analysis as usual!

The problem with W+ battle reports is that they’re just an advert. If I’m watching a game I want it to be between two top players with a couple of other good players doing commentary. Bonus points if the players are mic’d up, but it’s not that important. Basically I want to see how the teams are played optimally, and get analysis on why.

Yeah, they aren't for that. They are fun exhibitions of cool interactions between cool models. Happily your needs are well served by community content .

So, on ITD the mandrakes are going to be BUSTED. :D Turn1 1st activation shadow portal, and since ALL WALLS are heavy, the mandrakes can be ALWAYS in shadow. Again approximately 3,5 second of thought were put into the team when it comes to balancing them on all available formats. Gonna pick them up anyway if we dont get 3 boxes again for the whole country, as per usual...

Especially with Mandrakes, i agree. Look forward to the old resin models also getting their day in the sun. Seeing some of the characters also would be exciting.​@-Blackberry

The Shadow movement stuff feels tailor made for making sure you can max objectives TP4 after tabling your opponent by the end of TP3 if you’ve been pulled out of position.

I would not have thought it was a fantastic proxy, but I think you could make it work with conversion if you wanted magic kroot for some reason.
