Did you notice the empty mass of Sumeru area released alongside this update ? The entire landmass strecthing from desert to Bayda Harbor (excluding the sea) is same in length from one corner of Mondstadt map to another corner (Brightcrown Mountains to Galesong Hill) and has only 2 chests and 1 puzzle.

its fine for me, after all Sumeru already full of contents and bigger than any other region. Just a little disappointed that the underwater map in the update is too small ,i expected more from a space that big just to be unlock with one statues

I’m glad it’ll only work in natlan, the fun of genshin is exploring the huge world, having a dragon you can js ride on whenever you need to get somewhere is boring ash, + we alr got teleport waypoints

There is a npc in Bayda Harbor that tells us some lore crumbs from Natlan. Also, the Unfinished Reverie artifact set also has some interesting lore related to Natlan, so if you like lore, I recommend to check that.

I have a theory which may or may not have something to do with Natlan Archon quest: Since Natlan has something to do with resurrection and based on that fatui chart you showed if the next boss we fight is indeed Columbina. We might fight Columbina to stop the resurrection of third descender because Pyro gnosis is the last one they have to acquire. Since it is quite obvious Columbina's design is based on biblically accurate angel and she may have some powers related to resurrection. Capitano will probably there to help her in this mission and to obtain the pyro gnosis.

I really hope that we get a phoenix themed character Because you know fire and recantation and all! But I also hope they don’t mess up pyro traveler due to the fact pyro traveler is one of the few things I look forward to 😭

it’s genuinely impossible for them not to mess up pyro traveler. First off, every traveler up to this point besides maybe dendro has had a horrible kit, and dendro is only an exception because it’s a new region and they had 3 dendro characters on release, so they had to have at least one good dendro support. And even if they have a decent kit, Bennett, xiangling, etc will always outshine them.

It may not have been a good joke but it WAS lore accurate. 😂

Sumeru's inspirations were middle east and India (the middle east includes Persia and ancient Egypt and whatever civilizations lived there) that's definitely not just "part from Asia"

Like up till now we have only been introduced to 4 harbingers, 5 if u count Dottore's tiny bit of screen time in Sumeru. And theres still 6 harbingers yet to be introduced, and as these rumors state that only Columbina and Capitano will be introduced in Natlan. So then theres still 4 harbingers who havent been introduced and Snechniya is final nation, does that mean that we will have spicey harbingers action in Snechniya with the remaining 4 harbingers be introduced at once during a single nation arc? 💀 thats crazy.

We will 99% see the rest of the harbingers in Snechniya as it is their base and will most likely be the story of that nation arc, to find the Tsaritsa and since the fatui serve her we will have to meet up with them first, thats just common sense. So in what way are we going to have a meeting with the harbingers to meet up with the cryo archon without their leader, how does that make sense? 😂 also Pierro is Tsaritsa's messenger and most loyal follower so it just makes sense that we will have to go through Pierro to meet up with the cryo archon. In the khaenri'ah arc we will prolly just find out the rest of the history to what happend there and Pierro will prolly show up there aswell, but i dont think he will be introduced there but he will in Snechniya and prolly become playable in Khaenri'ah

I’m assuming people have seen the new Sumeru expansion, and its lack of stuff. Why do I have a bad feeling that Natlan is going to turn into that? Their gonna stretch the land out to make it look big, but their not gonna increase the number of things to do, so you’ll have to use the mount system to get to the same thing you could just simply teleport to. I’d be so pissed if they did that. There would be little to no point exploring Natlan if they did that.

I think they made the empty sumeru area cause technically thats a Filler space and there is no official Sumeru map release this time..rather the part that connects it to Fontaine .. although in previous filler spaces there were still many chest (sumeru desert border during 4.0 and liyue borders during sumeru)

Even though I'm an archon main... I'm 100000% pulling for Columbina

So far from what I've seen Columbina might be the one having the honor to join the playable pool of characters. I was looking forward to playing both Arlecchino and Columbina and man did they not disappoint with Arlecchino, I hope that the same will apply to Columbina.

Natlan bigger then sumeru?! I am crying...bro imagine the world exploration

I just remembered. Each region gives an archon a set that is specifically msde for them. Likw VV for Venti. Archaie Petra for Zhongli (or tenacity later). Emblem for Raiden Shogun. Deepwood for Nahida. And golden troupe for Furina. So when a region releases one of the sets is a perfect fit for the playable archon. Or closes to the archon.

Now that I think about it, there were 3 harbingers mentioned in Fontaine. Let me explain. We had Childe, who got his ass handed to him by Neuvellete. We had Arlecchino, who showed up here and there in the Archon quest. And then there was a 3rd who was mentioned in either a side quest or random world quest, but not by name. If you’re only looking at those who were physically there, then yes, there’s only 2.

All I want is for Natlan is for there to be a light brown dog or cat to have white fur all over the top of its body and it’s called “Concha”

It will be 5.0 in more than three months, it seems to be August 28th🖤

Follow the sequence in every nation we meet one new harbinger and one old harbinger we already encountered , so in Natlan we meet Capatino and old harbinger we previously encountered Dottore , so forget about Columbina yes we will fight Columbina after Arrlechino but its not happening soon.

Well for now I'm excited about Dainsleif's quest

Aztec music and Iroquois Confederacy lifestyle. It depends on what they are studying right now. I believe Hoyoverse is studying the root influence, this is why there are only ‘bread crumbs’ about Natlan. You forgot the hint with the ‘talking stick’ claymore weapon. It describes the legend about Hiawatha. I’m very excited for Hoyoverse to come out with Natlan and the lore behind this mysterious new culture.

I mean, pretty big thing that a lot of people seem to have missed, the vast majority of Monstadt's military left on an expidition ages ago. They haven't shown any signs of being in or near the other nations, so considering Natlan is in a state of war, and they most deffinitely are not anywhere else, it brings to mind that Natlan is most likely where they will become relevant again. If not, well there is a random army out there doing who knows what.

Sadly won't be the first time we get a "south america but actually we mixed a ton of central america into it" Personally just can't wait for Xbalanque since i actually know about actual Xbalanque myth(thanks smite). But first gotta speed through inazuma, sumeru and fontaine Y-Y. Just one more year til snezhnaya and another one for Kaehnriha, honestly i just want Pulcinella and Dainsleif to be out already.

Phoenix represents rebirth or to some degree, reincarnation. The Pyro Archon probably resembles the mythical bird. (And it's not Diluc)

The oculus seems to increase by 90 each region with the exception of Liyue and Mondstat. So Sumeru had 271 and Fontaine 361, most likely it’s 451 by that trend.

rituals could be just specific conditions to activate a particular buff, like Nilou/Chevreuse passives or the last artifact set axed to burning and off-field, I don't it would be with a HP loss or bond of life too redondent with Fontaine, and for the magma maybe finally a Geo buff ? a character, artifact set and/or weapon that work very well with Pyro and Geo and even better with both

Kinda hoping magma is a new geo reaction that reacts with either burning enemies or dendro, the latter of which can happen since it wouldn't unnecessarily buff dendro, since geo would have to cause said reaction and can't be applied to enemies as a lingering effect like non geo/anemo elements can, at least as of writing this.

Im excited for WuWa, competition for companies is always a good thing. The consumer always wins, both Wuwa and Genshin will have to bring their A-Game. Wuwa has to prove itself a worthy opponent and Genshin will need to listen to their players more and add more things worthwhile

Just throwing it out there - my guess is that instead of fighting in pyro archon war, Capitano or even Columbina migh try and *become* the pyro archon, in a way to get the gnosis for Tsaritsa. It could be that pyro archon is simply a title that will be reincarnated, not a person holding it. Just like there is no current Hydro archon in Fontain, there is no Pyro archon in Natlan, therefore the title is likewise "dead". I think that could be so cool, to have a harbringer in charge of a region, a fresh take if you will😊

I would say that Capitano would do the role of Dottore in Sumeru (In Comedia del Arte Capitano lies a lot about his strength). And Columbina would be the new boss and character. If you have to be friend of them, which one is more likely, Capitano or Columbina? I say that Capitano and Dottore would be the bosses in Sneznhaya and Pierro in Khaenriah.

3:10 Arlecchino is the 7th harbinger not 4th (Dottore is the 4th one) and Scaramuccia the 6th but she seemed stronger so I don't really know if they're ranked by strength. I think they're more likely to be ranked according to who joined last, it was hinted that Tartaglia didn't really know much about the organization wich would make sense if he's the 11th one, so last one to join. Pierro, who seems to be the commander, is 1st so that make sense too. If it is by strength order though then Capitano being 2nd and Colombina 3rd, we're goin to have an hard time in Natlan guys 😨

wdym? did you not watch the Teyvat chapter trailer that basically leaks every single region and main characters for them? sumeru showed cyno, Fontaine showed lyney and lynette, natlan shows iansan

Idea: I think signora will ressurect in natlan because it's resurrection and stuff plus she dosent have a physical form and probably will ressurect and there's no other better place than natlan, the region of fire and embers and stuff

We had Arlechino and Childe in Fontaine, and we had a SLIGHT mention of another Harbinger (Pulcinella? I forget) killing someone as a means to "apologize" for their wrong doing and wanting to not get in the Traveler's bad side. So I guess, *technically* there were 3 Harbingers in Fontaine.

I cant wait for the pyro archon but I heard she's ANOTHER polearm user I hope thats false but if not I was expecting her to be a sword user since Bennett is the only pyro sword user in the game i guess we have to wait 2-3 months to finally see her art concept just like how we waited for Furina when fontaine leaks came out.
