I too feel exactly the same, nothing could even compare to living in those prisons of horror. We are blessed to be born in America. Oh if only those people wouldn't be so brainwashed. But they keep brainwashing their minds and keep them weak by not feeding them and overworking them so that they have no choice but to accept their fate. I do wish someone or something would intervene on their behalf.

I agree! I also feel like we should not be the world's human rights enforcer all the time! Sometimes I feel like all this emphasis on North Koreas jails is just encouraging the US to go to war again. Also, who knows if these defectors were just people taken off the street in South Korea to make the claim that they were in the prison camps. Is everyone aware that Japan in World War Two did terrible things like North Korea and the Kim Dynasty might be giving their supporters vengeance?

I saw a north korean documentary and there was an interview with one northern Korean escapee who was a Labour camp gaurd. He told the Labour camp guards are specially trained to think the inmates were below human and they should always consider the inmates as faceless, nameless living objects with only serial number and the guards should leave their humanity and kindness during duty time as no humans with humanity could serve in NK labour camp.

I have heard conflicting reports on the 3 generation prison thing. I truly hope it isn't true as that's just insanely brutal

That's so insane And unfair to the family of the person cause they did nothing to deserve this

this is actually crazy. I wouldn't want to make a family if i was there, there's no potential for growth at all. If i were to get captured, id just attempt to escape and get killed already. Its not worth living like that imo.
