Kinda wack. They need to let us pick what position we want to play and not limit us to 5. Also i think playing in highschool gave you way more immersion and felt like you earned your scholarships.

@@TherealEzE08madden has had the custom superstar mode where you can only play QB, RB, WR, LB, and CB. this is just that mode repackaged into this one, and people have been complaining about being limited to five positions for years

It’s cool that you can bring it to madden but being able to play Highschool and earn scholarships was wh6 I wanted to play road to glory

The college game was definitely limited because of Madden being lazy. I mean that has to be what it is, cause you can only choose 5 in Madden too, so to be able to move your players from College to Madden, they had to make sure they had the same positions. I miss the days where you could pick 1 of the main 24 positions

I still remember back in ncaa 14 playing as a two way running back/dt in hs that was fun, and it made for some unique attributes when you decided which position you wanted. Also playing Madden back then and making a superstar o-lineman was peak immersion as a big boy

We all definitely feel the same about no high school but think longterm, EA has the rights back to make college football games and we have years for them to bring back features and add ones we hope to see.

I think the high school aspect is something they will regret not doing, like in my opinion start in high school then depending on performance in high school that’s how many stars a player has then based off of that they overall and offers/potential game time comes in, to simply just give it off to the players feels like they maybe had to rush or didn’t want to over complicate things the devs at EA, who have been ruining most sports games tbh, maybe it’s a blessing in disguise that they didn’t have time to ruin that. I even remember players playing 2 way in high school so maybe some teams notice that players played well on the secondary position and give them the option to play at that school in that position over their primary choice like the fact someone like me who wasn’t a hardcore player of it back then can come up with ideas like this and they didn’t or wouldn’t want to kind of shows that they’re not really in it for the experience they like always just want our money

Plus after a few careers, highschool was more of a nuisance due to wanting to just get into the college games 🤷‍♂️

Playing in highschool on the older one's not 12-14 but from 08 to 11. The high-school hames help with your rating and overall before you get to college. Like if you have scrambling qb his will be low in how school but you make completions it will add points to that

How do you enable play selection in road to glory just keep earning coach trust points?

Don’t bother doing anything less than 4 or 5 star. You have 8 weeks to get your academics up to par to pass the exam, so don’t waste too many points too early. Practice and position battles is a joke and the cut scenes between your players plays takes away from the experience badly. Why didn’t EA just do full regular practices between squads to earn your role and battles? This mode has a lot of work to make it great.

So can you restart and pick another school and stuff after you have played your way through the first one or are you stuck with the first and basically have to either go to Madden or just not play road to glory anymore?

Not playing in HS fr fr ruins it for me. Building a highschool team with names, colors, logos and styles made it so immersive and alot more real and not being able to be on the D line is tragic and lazy. I knew EA would fuck this up 😂

What happened to earning your star ranking? If there’s no HS then the least we should get is a combine like the old PS2 games had. How well you did in drills determined how many XP points you got to spend on attributes. Only choosing between 5 positions is stupid and kinda ruins the mode. So I can’t be a TE or DT? Tf I’m paying all that money for the for then 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ EA dropping the ball again. I don’t doubt Dynasty will be great… but what about RTG… that was just as much part of 2014 as dynasty was
