    As a kid I never thought adults know everything as I saw through their failed attempts put on a show that they know things, as a teenager I think the more know, the more I know about how less I know! I donno how I'll be an adult but I'd prefer to remain a teen if possible

    @@GnosticLucifer remain child like. in awe of what is. Knowledge places people on a ledge, creates a safe space where people don't dare to soar any more. The limited view from their perches they believe in what they know. but don't know what they do not. so how can they believe in what they do not know. by letting go of what they know. For a seed to grow it must be nurtured but if you tend to a crop that had already cast its lot, then you might not know what you do not. So cast out many seeds nurture the wonder, never think to know, but always be on the sow. Sprouting life where there is doubt. Tell all I don't know without a doubt. so what I don't know can come and flow. Through and through from a Me to a You. But never stay in knowledge's game or your wonder is then slain.

    Dude, this is EXACTLY the type of shit I realized and was tryna talk to people about just a few months ago but everyone either acted as if i was crazy or an idiot (usually the religious people of my family) or they simply didn't care. It's scary to think about shit like that though. Just makes life feel so much more meaningless. Maybe that's why nobody wanted to believe what I was tryna tell them. People would rather live the pleasures of life without having to care about shit that'll do nothing but just bring you down. I wish I had that mercy.

    Ong, the curse of intelligence that I have been burdened with causes more suffering than joy.     I think curiosity is what makes us human. Asking questions, being curious, is something that I think only humans can do. But I don't know everything.

    Maybe we should understand the difference between questioning and being curious. Questioning requires a lot more thought process than just being curious not to mention that we humans have evolved on a level that we can perform operations in our brain at an impressive altitude. We should also not neglect that we propose many complex thoughts. That being said, im gonna think more on this 😭

    btw: I take a medication that has many side effects, as many do. One of those side effects is slight change in colour vision. Although my comment exaggerates what I experience, it relates more to those who are actually colourblind. I have not had much trouble with this slight colour change but sometimes I mix my blues and oranges, the red and green part I don't really notice, I just know those are the most common miss-perceived colours from colourblindness's.

    I'm sorry, but this has got to be one of the best videos describing how you can literally talk for 14 minutes and not say anything. People that know anything about psychology Will know exactly what your doing. I did this in high school when I was writing papers. Just say the same thing in different ways to make it sound like there's something important being said in reality you could of summed up the whole vide o with one sentance.

    The one video that you described that a lot of people are lost chasing pleasure instead of truly pursuing happiness really made me change my mind about life, I was honestly contemplating suicide and I listened to your video. Thank you for helping enlighten people (for lack of a better word) with this wisdom. Also someone told me today... If the world is an ocean of darkness and negativity, and you are a ship of light, as long as you don't let that darkness get in your mind/soul/heart that ocean of negativity can never sink you. It was someone that was barley literate and they don't know me well and it really hit me deep, I read it over and over and really took it to heart and absorbed it

    We have spirits and free will(the ability to choose to do good or bad). Animals don’t but God created naturally good, there lives work to create sustainable ecosystems.     I think most of his videos are pretty cool, but he also often acts like something is "deeper" than it actually is. For example take his question wether fire was invented or discovered. As I understand the word "invention", you need to create something new that didn't already exist before. But fire already existed before humans. Case closed. Maybe I'm just too closeminded, but I enjoy the other types of videos he does.

    I used to love the whole “how do you know you and I see the same colours?” anology. Since then I’ve learned that unless you’re colourblind everyone’s eyes contain a similar number of rods and cones enabling us to see the exact same shades and colours as everyone else. We do know.

    My mother used to wonder my fascination with colorful arts. It's not until a decade later we learned that I inherited the recessive genes that allow me to see more colors than her or even most people (thanks to my art teacher). And that saying a lot cause my dad sees even fewer colors variation... It turned out my grandfather from my mother had the gene. So, yes. Not all people can sense the same things in the same way others do. It's just sad that I didn't take art school and went to medical instead...

    I literally think about this stuff all the time. ESPECIALLY the part about dying and about space. All the humans and animals that have ever come and gone, not ONE of them can tell us what happens. It's amazing, and odd at the same time.     I have just started watching this video , now I assume it will be a good one , but to put my thought on your introduction about colors ; we can know if we are looking at same color or not and I'll give you an example : say I put a board of all the colors and we neglect the names , I ask you look at the sky and then all you have to do is point to the board the color you're seeing .

    @@sasukekakashi6024 True. You're absolutely right. Besides I am pretty sure we have no way of detecting consciously our brain activity. We already have so much trouble controlling our thoughts. But what I do think is that even if through computers we find more about our subconscious it'll be super cool. It really bugs me to not know what is it exactly that actually controls our brain.     @@sasukekakashi6024 i also heard that during the 20 secs right after our death, our subconscious mind just flashes back all our life, the memories, people, every single moment of our life infront of our eyes withtin thoes 20 secs and ik now you would say that how cum thw mind will flash my entire life in 20 secs, so i have the answer: see when we see a long dream and wake up, we think that it was such a long dream so many things happened there, i must have dteamt for half an hour or domething but when you calculate the time you will notice that you dreamt for very less time but you thought that you dreamt for very long, likeways for our human body, time runs quite fast compared to the timelapse of our mind(specially subconcious mind)

    @@kakyoindonut3213 that would be our eyes wouldn't be much developed nor our ideas of colors and we would only be able to communicate through 2 mediums (sound or waves ) vocal chords would be different and the conditions we live in now wouldn't be favorable for us sound coherent beings

    I watch your videos and it makes me feel like my professional career as an athlete is a waste of my human potential.
