    He’s a better passer than Kobe ever was already. Dude’s passing is more akin to Lebron. And honestly his smoothness on offense is more like TMac. His defensive recovery is akin to Hakeem or Robinson. Except he’s 7’4”.

    I've followed NBA for over 40yrs, meaning I saw Jordan when he was drafted. Let me tell you all, I've never seen a rookie's game so well polished like Victor's. Lebron was ready to go when he was drafted but he wasn't this polished. Victor's polished game as a rookie is what NBA stars transform into in 3-5yrs, as seen with Giannis, Jokic, Tatum, Luka, e.t.c., not day one as a rookie!

    Here's a theory People will abosulutely love Wemby because in some wicked way he represents us. He shows other NBA players how to be just regular. The way so many felt at some point in their life 'I could ball, but there's always going to be someone just bigger, someone you cannot simply outmatch by hard work' is now becoming real for the other NBA players. And it feels refreshing to see this justice served. I already love this kid

The only guy who can relate to us may be steph curry. He was small to other NBA players, he cannot dunk as hard as LBJ but he simply shoot 3s to change how the entire NBA used to run, all by his hardwork. Now that's what we called relatable, not your monster height wemby shit that's just born OP. Saying Wemby represents us is just like saying Broly the legendary supersaiyan represents us human.

    Wemby is the first NBA player to have an extended highlight reel after two preseason games. Plus it didn't include his most extraordinary defensive play. He was covering his man who had the ball in the vicinity of a midrange near the foul line or thereabouts. The guy tossed the ball inside to his teammate who was in the key above the dotted line. Wemby turned and stretched his body practically kneeling on the floor and disrupted the low post man who was trying to pass to a player on the wing. Wemby swatted the ball just enough that his team mate was able to make the steal of the errant pass. Wemby took off and in the end dunked on a fast break. IOW, Wemby guarded two different players at two different levels of the court. The stretch move on one knee has been sent to US Patent Office for review.

    Wemby's already the most complete player in the game next to Kawhi & might be the easiest player to build around in the NBA. Spurs were able to run (C)Bassey, (PF)Sochan and (PG)Jones with him, none able to shoot 3's, all because Wemby can space the floor himself. He gives the Spurs lineup & roster flexibility. Roster construction isn't easy, even guys like Jokic can be tough to build around because he doesn't play defense but Wemby does it all. It's like Wemby frees up 1-2 roster spots that are normally reserved for role players of certain skill sets, Spurs will be able to do whatever they want with the team.

    People thinking Wemby wouldn’t have easily adjusted to the nba are just as brain dead as people who thought Luka wouldn’t. This guy has been playing against grown men in France as a teen. Do you think Europeans aren’t tryna show up a young prospect? That’s literally what every older player in every sport tries to do against a young promising prospect. In all honesty he’s probably already ahead of most people in his class. And the big difference is the culture is raised in, the spurs were probably the actual perfect place for him to go to, I really don’t see any other coach, or team at the time having been able to make him more comfortable than the spurs. There’s a lot of moving pieces for a player to get comfortable and do well, and most of them have aligned themselves for victor. Plus, wembamyama is still like 250lbs meaning that even if it’s distributed around his body, he’ll still out muscle people at least 20 lbs lighter than him. The only players that I see giving him any difficulty are LeBron, Giannis, jokic and any other 6’8”+ player that is 240lbs+ which isn’t a lot of players. Most players are 6’6” and 200lbs. There’s a high chance the only thing that’ll stop victor is his only body rather than any team. I mean first off, victor already seems way more humble and mature tHan most of his peers or other player in their first year, so I really do think there’s only his body to blame for stopping him. Well I guess if there’s a zaza type player who so happens to put their feet underneath you when you land from a jump shot. But hopefully there’s no longer petty ass players that legit wanna injury players for no reason.

  • @GOATiology

    @GOATiology

    8 ай бұрын

    I totally agree with you on his attitude. Being humble and mature goes a long way, especially in the NBA where there's so much pressure. Hopefully, he stays injury-free and doesn't have to deal with any Zaza-like incidents. It's always a shame when petty stuff like that happens. Anyway, I'm excited to see how Wembyama's career unfolds in the NBA!

    I don't agree with the rebounding part. I think at this stage it is the weakest part of his game along with paradoxically the variety. As he can do whatever he wants he'll be prone to take inefficient shots just for fun. Long term he'll be playing more and more inside + 3s..
