Everything Left Behind at Abandoned $20 Million Dollar Chicago Mansion

Ойын-сауық

Today we are taking a look at a $20 million dollar mansion and guest house that was left abandoned in 2013 after being a very successful horse breeding farm that actually held 3 of the states top stallions. The original owners of the mansion passed away in the early 2000s and it was attempted to be purchased by another family but was later foreclosed on.

The interior of this place is beautiful! No dust, no mildew, no water or rot damage. The rooves need to be replaced, but that's the only real damage I can see. This place can be beautiful once again.

This one actually made me cry because if I had ever been blessed with that kind of money this would be the home I would have wanted. The furnishings and everything else. I don’t understand how rich people can just walk away. I can understand if there are tragedies and you can’t come back but how some people can just walk away from everything and just start over fresh like their past or present never existed is beyond my comprehension.

I immediately started thinking about the house I grew up in, and actually got a lil bit depressed because of how much I still want to go home. These people had no care whatsoever, I just don't get it... Was this place haunted or something..?

So if you had been blessed with money, you would have found appropriateness in the rapacious use of resources, land, and space to go to you alone (referring to the mansion)?

@@mikegarippo7815 I have a very large family and we all would have loved this home and what it offered. When you come from nothing and you don’t have the luxury of having a beautiful home and land it is something to be thankful for. I am very thankful to have what I have but we are in dire need of repairs that we can’t afford because of the cost associated with things in todays world. It probably better that I don’t watch anymore of this videos so that way I won’t be feeling like I am missing out on something I’ll never have. My riches will come in my next life 😊

This is like the 3 or 4th video of yours I watched. I just realized how isolated these multi million dollars homes are from everything and anyone. I see this and just appreciate my 2 bedroom apartment that I can keep up and keep clean. I can just imagine the water, pge, house cleaning, lawn care, property tax and the cost to move everything to another house is mind blowing so I think that is why they just get up and leave with just their valuables and personal belongings. I think these homes should be used for seniors to live in like a resort and not confined in a small room at a convelesant home.

@Didn't Ask...Don't Care It's sad but that's the reality. People have zero respect for anything, including themselves sometimes. They'll break into places that are abandoned just to destroy it or steal what they can. Instead of just being respectful and exploring to admire beauty, they think it's fun to destroy and steal. I'll never understand that mentality.

I simply adored the bathroom with the floral detail and the turquoise jewelry box (did it feel like marble) as well as the kitchen being adorable! It was wonderful to see your lovely wife with you, I hope her path to complete recovery goes smoothly and passes quickly. You guys take care, stay safe & God bless!💕Kat

You can think and I think these isn't first place practical homes to homeless and place like this has builded and owned someone, maybe died in trip or jailed and kids have own life's and problems. If you are rich in material but running out of money, then you cannot know how to life without money and things escalets, but place like these are so many around west and everywhere and reasons are for them even more cause one single reason dosen't usually turned like this. And places can survive because material is so overlooked and cannot touch legally anyone maybe, when this happens. Only one who maybe could can be missing somewhere.
