Awesome look backward to the JAWS era, Micah. We especially liked the shrunken head "nod" to JAWS 🦈 🙂 Those of us who lived through it can never forget the summer of JAWS 🙂

Jaws and Jaws 2 are my faverate of the series, and Jaws is the perfect horror movie, it takes its time, and the monster only shows up at the end and they dont over show it

Very cool that there are still remanence of the Jaws attraction at the park and that Universal intentionally incorporated all these Jaws Easter Eggs in their reimagining. Nice that they didn't completely forget about the classic. This was a great video, never knew these things still existed. Really appreciate you walking us through this. And yeah, I wanna believe that one of the mechanical sharks is buried beneath that fountain too.

amazing, I love when you do these videos, we will be there May/June after a two year delayed trip from the UK, I haven't been since 2000 so there are an incredible amount of changes, my kids will love Harry Potter but I loved Jaws the ride, that blast of heat you got when he bit the oil rig, I also remember earthquake, kongfrontation, Hana Barbara and ofcourse BTTF the ride. will miss them all, im just glad got to ride them., was really hoping the epic universe would have a classic ride land where we could bring back jaws and BTTF in some way never mind. im glad I have the souvenir photo book from 1998.

I remember going on the ride years ago. Did not know about all the other little details in the park about jaws. It's amazing all the little things there if you spend the time to look for them. Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

This is awesome! I wish I knew all the secret Jaws nods when I went to Universal a few weeks ago. I have a video of my kids riding Jaws when they were little, but I never had it transfered to digital. I miss this ride. The first version was already shut down on my first Universal trip so I had to wait a few years to finally ride it.

At least the Jaws ride is still open at Universal Studios Japan

Have you read the book by a long time Jaws Team Member? Very interesting about how the tech failed, was redone, partly failed, but kept going for 22 years... BTW: if gill-man is a classic monster, Jaws movies is closer in time to 1950s than to 2020s. So add Jaws in there!?
