Home is often seen as your territory, a place where you are the master. You decide what is your own there and you guard this territory.
When you relocate, the feeling of a physical home disappears altogether: you are a visitor usually living in some rented accommodation, frantically searching for the idea of home in your new surroundings. Filling it sparsely with the possessions you have brought with you, however things get lost with each move. When you understand the fragility of the house you get the feeling that the house is what you carry inside.
The beach and the sea convey the feeling of my seventeen months stay in Poland, where I am facing the unknown, blown by the wind and defenseless. My inner self multiplies and in a state of anxiety and uncertainty I hear many voices inside my head. I feel the need to step into the cold water to continue my journey.
