We DO use 'wash cloths'. They're called 'flannels' here. It's generally expected that you bring your own to hotels. Why were you looking for them in the kitchen section? They'd be with the other bathroom stuff!

Well come and visit us again there is far more our country has to offer, Next time perhaps do a road trip and see more of the country and get a feel for it, Plus as far as eating goes you can walk into any town and find food from all over the world being sold in Restaurants, For Example in my small market town where I live there is Indian, Chinese, Thai, Nepali, South African, Italian Restaurants to choose from as well as those offering more British food and that’s just in my tiny town, There is so much beautiful countryside to see and historical landmarks everywhere, So I hope you and the whole family visit us again soon.

Food and agricultural safety/standards are quite strict here in the EU and are properly enforced throughout the EEA. Genetically modified food is mostly banned too (although the British government is desperate to change this.) At the moment, it looks good and tastes good. Ralph Hardwick nope not at all. Waiters in America rely on tips due to not having a minimum wage, where as in England waiters get a set wage £10 /12 an hour. Tips are a bonus.

@@adgeyuk9803 We are saying the same thing really. My point is that it is a normal part of American life to tip service industry people (because they rely on it and because nobody wants to appear to be cheap - if anything the social pressure of tipping is the main driver. Because everyone tips you're seen as an asshole if you don't). When I'm in America I act like an American and when I'm back home in England I act like a Brit. What I find annoying is when people go do different countries and don't play ball with the culture of doing things in that culture).

Being British, I used to get some terrible service when I lived in the States because as soon as they heard my accent they assumed I wouldn't tip. There is an unwritten agreement that Europeans don't tip, which is quite accurate when dealing with the French, Germans and Spanish tourists. The British are probably the best of the worst - but Europeans don't understand how little American service staff make, which can be as low as 3 or 4 dollars an hour sometimes. Quite hard to give a tip when they have been purposely rude - though I did tip all the time.

@@mbenrice I think that has changed for the main part, I spend 2-3 months a year in the US mainly on the east coast, west coast and Colorado and I've always found people super friendly with my accent - that being said they could be giving me worse service than Americans but it's still better than British customer service.

Like many others have pointed out, Crawley is NOT London - in fact Crawley is around 26 miles from central London! I live in Crawley (well, on the outskirts near the airport) and we are near enough exactly halfway between central London and Brighton on the south coast. Apart from the touristy parts, London is a dive. I really wish people visiting the UK explored anywhere else than London as then you'll see the real country and the real people. London is just another typical capital city filled with people from all over the world. That Pizza hut is opposite TGI Fridays where my daughter works while she's finishing her Law degree. Where you are filming at 3:14 is almost exactly where Queen Elizabeth planted a tree back in the late 1950s - you were standing in what is known as Queens Square. They removed the tree around 10 years ago to build some new shops on the site of where the tree was - in fact the shop that was near enough exactly where the tree was is an Ann Summers (adult) shop! The Asda you were in is around 200 yards from the George Hotel, which has been there for around 500 years, maybe longer. It was a rest point for travellers in the old days when travelling between London and the coast. They still have the original gantry outside the hotel where they hanged people hundreds of years ago. The hotel is famously haunted. I've been to the US numerous times over the years and it USED to be great as everything was so cheap, but now things are very expensive there compared to here in the UK. That said, we're like you looking at the food in the shops in the US! Good to see a nice respectful and normal family. Every country has its good and bad points. Crawley's good point is that it's nowhere near London lol!!

Cinema's over here can be really expensive (especially the food). You can however buy a family ticket that covers two adults & two children at a discounted price. Most cinema's also do a cheap ticket on Monday or Tuesday before 5pm as an incentive to get people through the doors on quiet days. Typically it's about £10.
