They should really make wolves immune to powdered snow. Otherwise those snow wolves are going to die too often.

I agree but then wolves that don't belong in the snow biome would be immune and that wouldn't really make sense, so I think the wolves that are like in snowy biomes or can be in a snow biome should naturally be immune just a little not too much like I'm saying like they might be able to find a way out of it and won't get as much damage from it, and I think that was the new armor they should make it to where you can get an enchantment to like immune to powdered snow.

Literally 3 spawned in my base area, don't have enough bones tho so just having 1 tamed for now.

The devs need to add in berry pie and Cherry pie!! I mean we bloody have cherry trees but no cherries, berries but no way to really make anything good out of them.

I wish people would stop calling the dog armor overpowered. The community wanted to be able to take their dogs with them everywhere, and before it was almost guaranteed your dog wouldn't make it, especially on hard. This gives your buddy a big shield so you don't need to constantly worry about it.

They may have wanted the dog to come with them but to get the armor for the dog we don't need a new useless mob. They could have just gave a new recipe for armor made out of what the player makes their armor out of. Altho most still will not use the dog any way.

It's incredibly insane how big this update is getting, I'm so glad they are taking this genuinely.

What doesn’t make sense is that you use more scute to repair the dog armor. When you could use less and build a new one.

I think of it as the cost of repairing on the fly vs trying to craft and equip new armor while out fighting. I think repairing is much easier. Just breed up some dillos at your base on mud above hoppers and you’ll get more scoots than you’ll need pretty quickly.

Dude. I would’ve had no idea they upped the render distance on bedrock if I didn’t watch this. On my Series X it’s 36 chunks. THANK YOU!

Now "dillo-ball" is just making me remember that in the movie _The Road To El Dorado_ they actually did this. I forgot there was even an armadillo in that movie, but if I recall I think they used it to cheat because it would roll itself in their favor and against the other team's favor, lol

Hey @wattlesplays what do you think about the turtle scutes that can be used for the axolotl armor?

Not sure if it's a glitch or not but they drop scutes on their own so I have 6 in a pin with a hopper minecraft under it and collected a stack in less than about an hour. I can now armor 10 dogs.

Can shears get fortune? Shearing berries bushes would make sense and that could just be an enchantment overlap like how you can use a silk touch pickaxe on a grass block?

I love the black Wolf its already my pet , I got 12+ of them from taming two

They should make the snow wolf immune to cold damage

Honestly 28 chunks has been more than enough. I used to pay Java which I still do but everyone that I know only have bedrock, I play it on the ps5 which for some reason renders a lot better then on the pc for me at least. What I mean is that like fire animation when using texture packs it stops moving at a certain distance but on the ps5 it renders the animation a lot further on most texture packs lava flow also. Not sure why it’s like that but it is

Bigger question... will 2 player Nintendo Switch handle the mob spawners in Trial Chambers? I see all sorts of render and freeze issues in my future! It's embarrassing how glitchy the Switch version is. It's a lower tech spec vs Xbox or Playstation so it really needs it's own dev team! Aside from that I wish Cartographer would sell you maps of biomes you haven't come across yet (in a Jungle, want to see Cherry trees... here's a map go to the X). And they made a new Adventurer Villager... have that one sell you Temple maps, Trial maps, Ruin maps, Shipwreck maps etc. Then you mod the Wandering Trader to sell you maps to the nearest village you haven't found yet... only catch is it might be in the opposite direction of where you're going!

So regarding all the dogs that I have encountered I have already encountered six out of the 8. In order so I was already in an old pine Taiga when I had last played cuz I was exploring to do some diamond mining and so black wolf almost immediately. The first one was actually a pup. That one I chose to be my IRL dog Oreo. Then I went a little further and found an armadillo it's already I found the Savannah and the dog got armor. I actually tamed two black wolves. And then in order I found the woods wolf, Rusty Wolf, striped wolf Chestnut wolf and Ashen wolf. I was on my camel initially but my camel unfortunately died to the wolves because I failed to unleash it and I accidentally hit it. No worries though I did get another camel. Currently I'm looking for the white wolf in a nearby Grove. So far I am having trouble because they're not spawning as often as they should in bedrock so far I've only seen one and I failed to tame it because the stupid wolf went ahead and chased the fox into the powder snow. So already i knew this was going to be a task

If anyone is on console, get the “Afreshed” texture pack. It adds extra animations to your world, and lets mobs eyes move and look around. So your dogs will be able to give you bombastic side eye 😂

They should add ancient city maps. Like, the ancient city's loot was slightly underwhelming, especially in hardcore, in 1.19 and even today for how dangerous and tedious they are to find and explore. Ancient cities are to 1.19 what mansions are to 1.16 and 1.17. I think cartographers selling maps to ancient cities could further mitigate the problem with them like armor trims did. Either that or have something there actually add to the game's progression.

There’s a bug where chests, shulker boxes, barrels and ender chest all appear to have a double chest worth of storage slots.

With my experience, the wolf armour is not that strong, i took my wolf out to the caves to get diroite where it was mostly lit up and the wolf armour still broke from the couple of mobs there

Yes. But essentially you are sacrificing 1 copper ingot (and a feather and a stick) for 5 scutes. Armadillos also drop scutes spontanuously.

I wonder why there is no cooldown on brushing the armadillo that's so strange to me

if armadillo is of this update then 1.21 will probably have crab or penguin i mean the breeze wasn't a part of the mob vote so...

Everything is good except for the durability bar. I don't know why they thought it'd be a good idea, but with the texture pack I have on 24/7 the bar is far too bright. It's basically glowing neon - takes too much attention away from the actual scenery. A flop

Speaking of powder snow there's something I was wondering as well why didn't they just make the wolves immune to the freeze from the powder snow? I mean they're furry so I would think there would be some level of realism
