So I guess my biggest point is - it’s not about the number of stuff u own per se, it’s about whether your ownership is intentional and based off needs instead of emotional insecurity. And our number will def go up from here given that we want to cater to our parents n for me I feel it’s no shame in that. What do you think? Jean I have some questions for you,. please: 1) Is Yak magasine still in existence? I read about it in a book published in 2016 about Bali. The magazine allegedly gives everyone the low-down on what's happening "in town" and around the island. I am just wondering if it is still published and in existence. 2) The book I read recently about Bali is called "In the Spirit of Bali", by Isabella Ginanneschi 2016. The Yak magazine was mentioned in it, in the section that showed younger people out enjoying Bali's nightlife. in clubs such as Ku De Ta which might have closed down because of the pandemic. 3) Are there newsagents in Bali selling magazines from all over the world, like there are here? I have never seen them shown in videos.

hi Dom, thanks for always stopping by, hope you're having a nice week in your end of the world :) i'm actually not sure if i will hv smtg for you guys this coming Sat i actually got very sick these last days and now only started recovering a little. But i wish you good spirits and good health meanwhile. Let's see :)
Love your videos! Suggestion for future one: can you make a video about your morning/evening skin care routin, as well as anything you do in your life to maintain your skin so young and beautiful? 🥰
Great video. Having super difficult time getting rid of things as we are planning to travel for few years
Congratulations on the move! Your new place looks so cozy already! And your couch looks nice and comfy:) I actually do 'stocktake' every few months on kitchen items and clothes (the two biggest categories that can easily build up). This year I said to myself I wouldn't buy any new clothes and I just bought a cotton t-shirt yesterday lol. Anyway, for me it isn't so much about the number of items I own, it's more about making sure everything is used regularly or has a meaning to me and has its own spot in the apartment. Thanks so much for sharing your minimalism style! P.S. We've just finished a small renovation, and I find that a home looks even nicer with less stuff in sight, and natural light and some plants are good decor. I'm trying to make our place feel like Bali hahaha. P.P.S. I came back to edit my comment because I've just noticed that we have a very similar tv stand! 😲

ahaa kitchen items and clothes are def weak points everyone turns a blind eye to! so much discipline from you to stock take every few months. fun to hear you're newly post-reno too! I love space and minimalist feels yeah - there's the other sch of thought about maximalism in interior decor but that just gives me a headache unfortunately! Ahaaa - shake paws on us being tv stand buddies! we did choose the design of that stand ourselves - a bit vintagey its quite nice i love it

I own 45 things and 50-ish clothing (for two seasons), Sincerely, Florida USA. My methodology follows: "This spring I moved out of my home in thirty minutes including the time it took to unplug the fixtures. I am able to move anywhere with the same casualness as stepping out for coffee. ~ Fumio Sasaki" A shoebox counts as one item - contains like-items like dental, or kitchen utensils etc. I did not count "consumables" but they are minimal - I don't buy 48 rolls of toilet tissue at a time! Renting/single/no kids allows for fewer posessions obviously and for maintenance/yards etc. I own 45 things (plus 50 clothing). I could move out in 2 hours except for a moving truck for my bed and chair/ottoman and maybe TV.
