Thank you for this wonderful episode! You are so calm and peaceful, I am at peace when I watch your videos 💕 I was wondering if you could overdye your Batty tee. Since you arent a fan of the color and you know how to dye yarn, why not try dying that beautiful sweater in a darker color that you love! It would be such a fun way to revive that lovely piece. Blessings to you!

You’ve certainly knit some beautiful items during 2023. I can see why your latest test knit sweater has already become a favourite. The colour and fit are both perfect on you. My 2 most enjoyable knits of this year are both Natasja Hornby shawls; the Aster and Cirrus. For 2024 I want to concentrate on garment knitt in but I’m not committing myself to exactly what yet. Depends where the mood takes me.

My first time watching and I’m hooked. I love your candid commentary around each garment you’ve knitted. I made the Lily lace top with the longer sleeve version, out of a thrifted linen blend sweater . Surprisingly easy for a first lace project. In this case, a pure linen knits up so much better than cotton. I’ve seen the designer in person who showed Lily in both cotton and linen. You have a great style sense. PS. Please keep the photo of your garment up while you talk about it.

Your projects look amazing, especially your Collette Tee. It has a nice drape and I really like the color. I really like your Tulip Sweater, Nanaimo Cardigan, and Pressed Flowers Shawl as well.

Hi Karlie, Thank you for this podcast. Enjoyed the creativity of each of your items. I particularly like the press flower shawl as I have seen others who have used their hand spun to produce this pattern. 💡I have a variegated hand spun Merino which would work perfectly for the flowers. Happy New Year🫶🏿

I love your Collet tee, the color and the construction! I think I’ll knit one for spring. I love your Vine tee too, it’s in my favorites and I want to knit it too. You would knit so many of your knits again! But there are so many new patterns right? I want to knit another ranunculus but maybe the tulip sweater as you did ;) Btw I knit a rib bralette and I recommend that one as well if you like knitting intimate clothings :)

The rib and lace top - what if you rip back to the line where the color shifts (or farther) and try picking up with a different yarn color? I think a bold color block and a matching sleeve edge would look cool!

Hi! Maybe you could layer a thin fitted top underneath your polo top? I'm not sure if you have COS in Canada, but I found some very thin, fine, 100% merino long sleeved tops there that I wear underneath my woolen tees. Beautiful works, very inspiring!! ❤

Hi Karlie I wanted to join your give away which I have never done before not sure if I am even doing this right. Anyway I really enjoy your podcasts and that last short sleeve sweater you made looked familiar and that’s because I finished the same pattern two weeks ago. I love the natural tones of your hand died mini skeins. I would use them in socks and color work hat or sweater not sure just yet. Anyway I’m not good at the tech side of things. I don’t use face book or instagram. I do have email. Well really wanted to try reaching out and let you know I like your relaxing style and the sewing projects too. Thank you for sharing Mary J

Your James N Watts blouse I think I'd try to find a ball of yarn that would combine with it to add length. Then I'd rip back to the underarm and put the 2 yarns together in a stripe even a cream would look better and you'd find it more wearable with it being longer.

this was a good video! what would make it even better is if it was a bit more organized like if you kept track of all the yarns you used instead of "just comment if you'd like to know", it makes it much easier to follow if you provide all the information. other than that I liked the video, keep it up!

Two comments-one positive, one negative. The positive: I loved your knits. The negative: I wish you would do your homework and write down the names of patterns, designers, and yarns so that you’ll be ready to discuss them without all that “Ummmm… I’ll put it in the notes below heh-heh” stuff. I understand that you can’t keep it all in your head, but that’s what pencils are for. The lack of prep is sloppy and insulting to the designers. (Btw, I fully realize that you’re not the only podcaster who neglects the prep.)
