I accidentally got into crochet in 2023 as well. I wanted to try embroidery so I went to Joann’s for some supplies. While I was there I found a super cute amigurumi kit that had a sloth and a Shiba Inu so I decided to buy it. But I knew I’d need to practice crocheting before starting the kit because it looked way too hard and confusing. So I went to Walmart and got some acrylic yarn and some cheap hooks. And I completely fell in love! 😂 Like I immediately loved crocheting! I had zero interest in it before but thanks to me buying that kit on a complete whim, I found a craft that I love dearly and that has really helped my mental health. So your story is very relatable to me. Thank you for sharing. I really like your work. I feel like you did some pretty advanced stuff for a beginner! 🖤🖤

what an amazing first year of makes!! I’ve crocheted for a few years now but 2023 was my first year learning knitting. so fun to begin a journey in a new craft!

Those are all really good, I started rating your crochet before you said to rate them as a fun little game to see what we both thought, its very interesting because what one person loves another does not like so I think everyone would give a different rating but here is mine: Small flower bag: 8/10 Cream bag: 8/10 Blood bag: 7/10 Black and green bag: 8/10 Black and white hat: 8/10 Blue and white scarf: 10/10 loved the scarf Black and white socks: 9/10 Christmas socks: 9/10 Mushroom cushion: 10/10 - would rate more if I could Red crop top: 7/10 Summer jumper: 7/10 Checkered jumper: 9/10 Forrest jumper: 6/10 Flower bag: 8/10 I think your doing really well and like I said it is about taste so some things I like more and somethings you like more and its really interesting to look at what other people like

I'm late to this, but I really want to be a crochet fashion designer that drops collections too. I have so many ideas for themes and concepts, and I'm very excited to see what I can make happen. Of course, I am also excited to see what you do in the years to come, as well. Good luck, friend!

All you have to do is to do it, honestly. If you have in mind a style you just come up with some pieces and call them your collection. When I did I was still a beginner so being bold?! is the key! Hope to see something from you soon 🩷

Thank you! I used acrylic yarn. All my stuff I wash by hands, just soaking into water with softener
