The dreamcore/traumacore aesthetics make me feel melancholic, reminding me of how I let my childhood, my friends, my old life just slip away, reminding me of how alone and unimportant I am now. I love weirdcore it feels like finding comfort and safety in some strange new world. Like missing home but finding a new one right where you are, even if it's not perfect. Like yeah, maybe things seem scary, but you can still lie down for a while and you'll be okay. It feels like taking a deep breath even when the air is made of jello.

sometimes we don’t want to wake up from dreams because we don’t want to experience the next day, but we also want to because we want to see the familiar faces we love.

I may sound crazy about this theory: ok, so the back rooms we all know them a a lot of us feel like we have been there before and all the places. so what if ur subconscious is actually another life where if ur mind is powerful and creative enough then u can no-clip in the dream world. that’s why we always feel we’ve been there. and sleep paralysis is just when ur body is stuck between relay and dream so both u and the entity’s are together but they can’t hurt u. so in ur subconscious word we can go places a no-clip but not in realty, but only the imagination kind and believers can no-clip to the back rooms.. no escape but u have to wake up. just our minds don’t know it. All i’m saying is that our subconscious can unlock new worlds and it’s not a pat life.

I don’t think depersonalization is bad. It can be really beautiful, after all, why be a member of such society? Seeing the world so differently and feeling so differently can be very beautiful. Ik this may seem a little weird, but weirdcore just calms me. It makes me feels safe. Like, someone's here, with me, protecting me from anything bad. And that I'm in another dimension. Somewhere, where I don't need to over think or stress. It makes me think of my friend. Everyone says that she's imaginary. But I think that she's real. Or an angel. Protecting me. Guiding me almost. I always fall asleep with her sitting on the side of my bed. I listen to weirdcore music like these. I appear in odd places in the sky, or in space, or on a different dimension. Where not all things make sense. I feel happy, safe, I feel like I can just be me. Not having to stress, worry, ect. But the girl I was talking about, I didn't give her a name. I wish I did. I haven't seen her in a week. I have an odd amount of nightmares. I see shadows in my room. I feel scared. I feel anxious. Almost as if I am sinking into the ground. I can't be the only one who just feels an emotion that you can't describe when listening to weirdcore music- specifically this kind of music. It hits harder when you just relax and imagine being on a hill with nothing except the sun shining on an endless blue sky. It's kind of as if you don't have to feel anything anymore. No one else is there. Nothing to even think about. Just spending these hours floating away into a world of nothing.

0:00 pov: Your falling down in a deep pit full of many colors, you watch your love ones just watch you up there, you teard yourself but then you slowly close your eyes thinking it was just a dream. But, it wasn't. You slowly open your eyes, and then you saw this creature watching you, it has many eyes that you could not count. It slowly speaked "Do you want to restart life?" and then you said "Yes!!!" without any hesitation. And then you slowly fly and fly up to where you fall and then you realized that the creature you were talking was the demon who's trying to haunt you since you were just a kid.

The first song, Fallen Down. I don’t know why, but out of all the dream/weirdcore songs I’ve heard, it makes me feel the most. To me, the others, whilst still amazing, just sound either eerie or oversaturated; they don’t evoke much of a feeling in me. Fallen Down, though, triggers my nostalgia. Idk if it’s because I feel like Undertale was just yesterday when it was seven years ago, or if that song pertains to my positive memories of the pacifist route or something, but it legit made me think for a few moments.

This playlist reminds me of my OC Sona! She is a lab experiment in a weirdcore playground. She looks sad but is really cheerful, her lab scientists don’t allow real life animals because they are too dangerous so they take them away. The experiments have powers but they don’t know about them. She loves reading and drawing.

I decide to wash the dishes today. I’ve been putting it off for such a long time. It’s stacked up and just gross. It just made more and more of a mess. I’ve been too tired to do it lately as well. But I did it. Half of it at least. Did a pretty crappy job, (my mom would’ve been so disappointed lol). But I did it. I felt so stressed by it, I saw it and wanted to cry, it was so much y’know. I turned on this playlist because why not. I can’t lie music just relaxes me and empowers me so much, it helped so much. It’s funny how the litttlest things can be so overwhelming. But anyways thank you for making the playlist. It was the exact songs I needed.

Listening while phone is one 1% is the feeling I can’t describe it’s scary and calming for some reason..

Nimbasa core and ykwim?

First song, fallen down, have me feeling that's it's game over, that I failed but it also tells me that it's okay to start again. Gradually the song starts having a happy tone. Like it's showing me that I'm okay, it's okay, everyone makes mistakes. Showing me the world telling me that I wouldn't wanna miss any of it's beauty just because of my regrets. Then, gently, the tone lowers down. As if pat on my back telling me to go for it. Great feeling to be honest.

i feel so safe. so secure. i love dream core + weird core. feelings like this are the only time i truly feel alright.

It's raining tonight, it's loud, it's cold, it feels real..but..dreamy..this music sends me to a place of tranquility..where i wanna be alone...running in a field of flowers and grass..looking out to the sky and thinking..."what a beautiful life.."

Hi

That picture reminds me of a house in my hometown. Me and my cousins (I’m an only child, they’re like siblings to me) would call it the purple castle, because it was a huge house, nice too. On Halloween we would always be so excited to run up and knock on that door. They never answered, but we all felt like little princesses running up to that house in costume. I turned 12 to find out they tore down the purple castle. I was filled with a sense of sorrow and dread, our purple castle we would dream about living and playing in was forever crushed. It’s been about 2-3 years since I had thought about that house, until I saw this picture. It’s not even purple, and it doesn’t even look like a castle. But something about it…unlocks memories of our childhood.

Dude, these songs just in general bring back… somewhat inexperienced memories that I can’t explain 🥺

Well, this makes me feel calm, and I wanna thank you. So many things have happened to me lately.. Like I have to move away from my school and family as soon as I started making friends, my grandmother died, and now my baby brother is badly sicken. Thank you for making this playlist and making me feel better

It’s been 1 year now, time moves on fast doesn’t it? This playlist got me through so many things, this playlist is one of the few reasons I’m alive. And for that, I am grateful internally it always helped me de-realize and think of alternate dimensions where I can be happy and that’s my goal. Life comes through with many obstacles, it may seem quite literally impossible to get through some. But just know that no matter what if you’re willing to try, if you can reach out, just know there will always be people who’ll be there to have your back. I completely know that not a lot of people may revisit this video after a few more years but to those who do and come across this comment I hope you’re having a wonderful life. I’ll be more than happy to give advice and reach out, but that’s only if you’ll try.

7:07 pov: you go to a park and look around to realise for some reason it just seems so familiar , you walk around the park some more and start to hear this music playing . You close your eyes and hear children playing,everything is coulour full and bright. Your back in your childhood once again. But then you open your eyes and it’s dark quiet and the park is empty. You then close your eyes again and realise. You can never go back to it. (I saw someone els in the comments do something like this and I wanted to as well so ye also always remember that one smell what is nostalgic for some reason. Have a nice day or night :)

there's always something so odd, so eerie about the past. no matter how happy it is, there will always be cracks and burns, depressing and sad times to corrupt the emotions and thoughts. though it may be comforting for awhile, that it is relaxing and it feels like a tiny place where only you are (like your thoughts and your head), it can instantly turn into something worse. Like how daydreams can turn into nightmares, memories you've cherished can easily change into something that haunts you. It's like staying in an empty room. you're all alone, as if you're in your head but instead, it's physical. (sometimes, it can even warp into both, especially when reality and dreams can seem so alike). It may seem fine at first, so comforting. then after awhile, you wonder, where are the rest of the people? why is there not a door? why can't i escape? and instantly, it turns into a nightmare. something you want to escape. something that you don't want to be in forever. The past is very much like that. it only last for a short while, for if you live in the past, it will be always something you'd want to escape. Nostalgia is such a wonderful, confusing, delicate thing. like a sharp needle, it may seem beautiful in dripping water, like how shiny it is, or even the beauty of how sharp it is can be somewhat amusing. but it can cause pain. it can hurt. and that, turns future encounters with it making you feel scared. Scarred. i guess that kinda explains why dreamcore/nostalgiacore/weirdcore may seem so calm yet so triggering. So comforting, that it absorbs everything of you into an unhealthy state. that you feel so connected that you don't want to let go. (forgive me for being so emo lol just thought of it, and what this, and many similar playlists make me feel :>>>)

I've bean scrolling, listening, and liking weirdcore music/playlists. Tbh, this is one of the best playlists
