you're right for having a backup degree, I've seen my mental health getting worse due to no interaction and just being glued to screen and as a introvert, I don't even interact in groups. So, rn I'm not in touch with my school friends and I haven't made any friends from this degree too. I would suggest everyone to have get into other offline college and pursue this parallely.

Does IITM provide internship in diploma level or degree level means in 2 or 3 year. 4. Will this degree help to do startups after completing MBA from IIT/IIM. 5. What is the highest pakage from Bs in data science and Al. 6. In this course,Have a better career option in future like after 10,20 or 30 years. 7. After completing my Bs degree, can I visit campur and can use their facilities for free like BTech students bcz we shall also alumni of IIT MADRAS. There is no courier service available for the hard copies. But it is up to you if you want to go there t collect the certificates. Anyways certificates in pdf form are pushed into your student dashboard.

Yes it is manageable. But if you have ece as your offline major. I would suggest go for electronics system branch.

Foundation ke liye hard copy nai milti. Or campus mein jane ke liye apko fest ke liye rukna padega, fest saal mein ek hi baar hota hai.. iss saal may 30-june 2 tk hai. Next year bhi isi ke around aap expect kr skte ho.

No data science students don't have any labs.

I've some extra query regarding the BS Degree. 1. The required hardware is a laptop with 500GB+ storage. But I do have a laptop with 256GB storage & currently I cannot afford a laptop more than these specification. Can I begin my course with this? 2. I haven't get my EWS certificate yet. So can I continue as general & add my EWS certificate later while learning the course? 3. Are educational loans allowed for this course? This is urgent. Because I'm not sure how many time is needed to get my EWS Certificate. 4. Does it provide any kind of internship? 5. Will I be able to enroll in BS in Electronics System after completing BS in Data Science from IITM?

Ans.1 yes it good till diploma. In degree level when you will study deep learning then only you need a high end laptop 2. Yes you can, IITM is very helpful in these situations. You can make your EWS certificate online by going to any computer shop which takes less than a week at max. 3. As I said after fees waived of due to EWS certificate you don't need a education loan and neither provided by any bank. 4. Both Internship and placement to skill students only. 5. Sorry to say but question 5 is rediculous and immature like you are just passing time of your precious life or you don't have any serious goals in life "right now " because after investing 4 years in DATA SCIENCE you want to do electronic systems 😮 which is very different field then data science. you should have asked for job opportunities or higher studies in same or similar field. I have given 10 minutes answering these questions, I hope you will understand 5th points . That was not to demean you but to shake your delusion.🙏

Tech, I just wanted to pursue BS in ES as a side course while pursuing my masters. I can understand how hard it may be, But I was also interested about BS in ES, so I asked that question. I know I should choose wisely between these two course. And your comment remind me to do so. Thank you again.

The registration fee you pay is for the 4 weeks' lectures, assignments and qualifier exam. You don't need to pay for anything else

Yes you get student email id. And to visit the campus during paradox or any other fest, you need to pay a certain amount of registration fee. And if you visit on normal days, you can roam around the campus without any fee or procedure, without getting any hostel/mess facilities.

For qualifier and some subjects in term 1, you can mange with phone. But for subjects like python you need a laptop for practicing coding and giving OPPEs.

Classes will start from may 31st. If you are in the eligibility list of jee advance, then you need not to take the qualifier exam, you'll get direct entry. If you want to write advance then for now focus on your exam and take the admission here in later terms.

Im eligible for advanced and even after that when im trying to aplly for electrinic systems it asked me the preference for examination centers and showing apllication fee 6000

Yes you get the exchange program in the degree level. But for that your cgpa should be greater than 8. And bs degree has its own clubs, although not sure about the entrepreneurship cell. But all other clubs are accessible to everyone.
