Hello Ivo! Long-time subscriber here. I grew up playing roller hockey and eventually transitioned into speed skating, competing in several events back in India. Now, I'm living in New York and have gotten back into inline skating. I can't express how much I love your videos and how passionate you are about the sport. Congratulations on the new shop! My next pair of skates will be from your Amsterdam store. Keep up the amazing content! God bless you. ❤

Very nice comprehensive talk about cuffs. That was probably a huge effort. About stiffness, I think the cuff plays a big role but before swapping cuffs and potentially ruin a pair of skates (because the shell flaps are also important) a strong liner that can be laced to the top acts as ankle braces, giving you a lot more support and a much stiffer skate feeling. For instance the M12 are very flexy laterally and simply putting something like the Twister XT or some intuition liners will solve it.

Amazing data and effort which you and your team collected. Had a real bad ankle injury grinding with a wheel bite which entire cuff broke while twisting my left ankle. What cuff would you all recommend with Aeons?

great video, again, thank you so a lot. I have a question.. Have you experience about drill new hools asymetrical for the angle of the cuff-bolts, like the roces x35? i will test, if this "feel like natural" for me to skate

In general I would say it is a bad Idea to do the cuff like the X35 has.

What roller skates would you recommend for someone who lives in a small country town with rough/bumpy chip and tar rodes? I prefer speed first, then comfort. When I say comfort, I mean less vibration. These skates will just be used to go up and down roads and sidewalks; no tricks or anything. Please give me a middle of the rode price for first recommendation and a budget recommendation. If it's the same model for both that's fine too. Thank you.

More wheels equalise the road more. For a smoothe ride 5x 76mm rockered is the best. For the best combination sweetspot 4x100 rockered is the best for most people. With a hardboot ofcourse. Look at our wizard style skates for what you need. www.thisissoul.com/collections/wizard-skating
