Hello sir. I hope you are doing well. I just completed my bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in India and trying for Germany for master’s program. I just watched your video on KZread for applying for master’s in Germany. And you were talking about thesis during BPT but in our college/university they didn’t asked us to make one. Although I studied from the best college in the central India, so what to do now, will I be able to do my application procedure without it too?

Hi Akisha, thanks for your query. Well, I came across many students in the past couple of weeks who didn't have a thesis during their bachelors program. My advice would be to either use any research project (even if a small one) conducted during bachelors degree or publish a review article to substantiate your application. However, you can still apply if you don't have a publication or thesis. These are only desirable and not mandatory indicators for securing an admission in a German university. So, you can apply even if you don't have the aforementioned projects or publications. Hope that helps!

Every college i see requires ielts and german language so will i have to wait to clear both of these tests to send aps certificate

Yes dear. APS checklist also requires one of the language certificates to proceed. But in case you are getting delayed, you can fill the quick IELTS form. IIRC you can get results in 3 days.

Hello, thanks for the information i have doubt regarding this that i want to germany in winter intake in this 2024 sep-oct, but as i would get the provisional marksheet in july or first week of august so could i apply aps with marksheets till 5th semester with the conditional offer letter and other documents. If apply in July for aps so would it be any chances for me to get into germany?? Thankyou.

The official website says 1 month waiting so there’s a chance that maybe it works. In the worst case, it takes three or more months as well. But it’s definitely worth giving a try.

I would suggest to send them the photos by post on the same address mentioning all your details. And if they still need something, they’ll write you back.

Hi I'm in my final semester and getting a provisional marksheet will be available after completion. Do I need testas for aps. Other than this can I provide ielts later to it if I'm in bachelor applying for masters

Best would be to wait a bit and then apply with IELTS and provisional degree. If not available, use all the marksheets and a bonafide certificate mentioning the expected date of completion. However, please note, this approach may or may not work.

They have the complete checklist for 12th pass students. For e.g., IIT-JEE letters, etc.

If you haven’t submitted the form yet then you can fill it. Otherwise, if they need further info, they will communicate with you.

I was trying to pay APS fees through CC avenue but it got cancelled, then i have paid it offline by IMPS, but now my payment status is still showing cancelled since 1 month, what should I do, should i send documents to the APS office or not? Please Help🙏🏻

I would recommend writing APS India with the receipt of the IMPS transfer so that they can check and confirm.

Should I stick the photograph in the application form..if yes, then where exactly. If no then how shall keep them. And where exactly shall i sign in the form. Please let me since its quite urgent

Sorry I’m not sure about that. But my educated guess would be to sign wherever mentioned and attach the photo with a paper clip so that they can use it whichever/wherever they prefer. However, if anyone else did that, could you share your experiences?

C1 Goethe Certificate is requirement for course. At present didnot have it;pursuing. Can I still apply APS? Thank you

Although you can get APS without that, I would recommend waiting for your C1 certificate and then applying for APS.

Hi dear. I’m not sure about the document that you are referring to here. As per the current information on the website, anyone can apply for an APS irrespective of their current level of education. And you need to have an APS for the visa (in most cases) and sometimes for the course application itself.

So, in my humble opinion, it would be easy to state the names of the universities. And once issued, I think that APS can be used for other colleges as well.

I would suggest to write APS and ask if they allow you without a degree (I was told by some colleagues that it’s possible but it’s always good to confirm) and then apply at the earliest.

Hello Sir, Hope you are doing well .I applied for APS certificate on 23rd/12/2023. I sent my documents through Speed Post on 2/1/2024. My Documents reached at APS on 5/1/2024.One month later on 7/2/2024 I got a call received from APS Germany about my Digilocker Credentials as well as university login ID and Password. Sir I want to ask that when I will get the verification mail from APS -- Germany and when APS Certificate would get issued .Is it necessary to send professors email to APS even they had called me right now. As far as I know, it’s indefinitely valid but it will automatically be deemed invalid as soon as your qualifications change. (For e.g., once you graduate, you’ll have to get a fresh APS).

Usually they accept IELTS and TOEFL (in some cases).

Hi sir, I just completed my 5th semester but don't have the marksheet yet! If I want to apply for winter semester 2024, when can I apply for the APS? A counselor told me I can apply once I have my 5th semester marksheet, but i have not been able to verify that information from anywhere. If i apply in the "minimum 2 semesters of bachelors" section, I will only be eligible for bachelor's in Germany and not masters!!! Please help me!!!

I will complete my bachelor's in june and all the college deadlines will be over by then. And i think APS in hand before application process in necessary as mostly all german unis require a VPD and VPD required APS....

I would suggest to apply to the universities that have direct application so that you can apply with the existing documents and get a conditional letter of place. Once you finish your degree, you can send the same to the uni. In the meantime you can apply for the APS as soon as you get your degree and then all sorted.

You can get the APS based on the current certificates as well. You can probably get a letter from your uni mentioning the expected date of your final provisional certificate.

Agar aaapko lgtaa h ki aap September tk degree complete krke, degree certificate issue kraaake, APS apply krke, college admission leke, visa process complete kr skte hain then yes. It’s not impossible but depends k apka course kb khtm ho rhaa h.

Hello Amit. If you want to take a masters program then aapko uss Bachelors k base p mile hue APS se hi kaam Ho jaaegaa. But agar aap PhD krnaa chahte hain to aapko MPT k base p new APS chahiye hogaa as per my understanding.

If you attain your German visa from Bangladesh then I don’t think you need an APS because it’s only for citizens of three nations.

They mention on their website that it should be submitted with the application. However, some people directly use it later during the uni application.

Hi Gaurav. As mentioned on APS website, only language certificates approved by the German government will be accepted. They only mention IELTS and TOEFL on their website. Would be best to ask the university where you wish to study. If they accept PTE then all good.

Hi Amir, thanks for the feedback. IELTS is not mandatory for APS per se in case a) the university you are applying to doesn’t need it, b) your course is going to be in German. Also, because IELTS is universally accepted so I agree to your comment that APS can be issued without IELTS as well.
