It's funny because people are paying full price for a "game license" that won't necessarily last until ubisoft kills the game, and this is because they can delete your account after a year of inactivity... Seems like a great plan when uplay is so devoid of games that they can't even maintain their userbase... I have a few older campaign games there, but up until last year I only logged in for siege... I don't even have a reason to use their platform, and therefore I haven't.

It is possible that it might not get many orders. The entire Star Wars fandom is insanely sceptical. Respawn happens to be the only studio this fandom trusts to make good games, the other studios we happen to trust were dissolved over a decade ago or saw EA intervention to the point where they were crippled.

I don't understand why everyone wants the ULTIMATE edition of a game these days. I'll get the normal STANDARD. And as usual for large titles, this costs €69.99 (previously €59.99). That's completely normal. Of course, if you want all kinds of crappy cosmetics or whatever, it's your own fault.

@@TheSolidSnakeOil why wouldn't it be? It's a way to purchase the DLC expansions for a bit cheaper if you like the game and decided that you want more of it. Here are some single player games that also have expansion pass/season pass : - Witcher 3 - The Outer Worlds - Borderlands - Batman Arkham Knight - Bioshock Infinite I don't see you complaining about those games having season pass. I'm not saying this game or its expansions is going to be as good as those games and their expansions, but "season pass in a single player game" is a funny thing to complain about. Especially because there is nothing wrong with it, it's just the expansions bundled in a package that is a bit cheaper than buying them individually

I'll pass on this one... if another level cost $40 extra, by that math, there are 2 levels in the base pack.

And remember. Even if you buy physical edition it still requires online connection. Ubisoft only sells you licenses to play theor games, you WONT be owning the game. Once they decide to pull the plug, you cant play it anymore just like they did with The Crew recently

Here is Australia it's a eye-watering $189 for the ultimate edition, Boom!

Good thing I was done with the star wars franchise years ago. I used to love star wars buuut the milking they do on that IP has ruined it for me.

People acting like no one is going to pay for this... But you must understand they know exactly what they are doing and there will a lot of SW fans that will pay for this.

There was a time when ubisoft made good games. Far cry 3, Assassin's creed 4 and rest. Even when denuvo came, the quality didn't dropped. Games like origins, Odyssey, far cry 5 were still there. Ubisoft was probably one of my favourite devs growing up. This whole crew thing was similar to a scenario when we meet our favourite player/singer and they turn out being real jackass, so they lose you as their fan, this was my feeling. Instead of being apologetic for this shameful act, they boasted this whole incident and called out gamers to get comfortable with not owning their own games. Just like ross (Louis Rossman) said, if you feel cheated by a company, don't even pirate their product. Pretend they don't even exist. That's my feeling now towards any ubisoft game.

Never pre-order. Wait till they really finish the game

I like how the "poors" Edition is only $69.99 US. I don't even buy Ubisoft games anyway. I think I have maybe 11 total on the Ubisoft Connect app, most of which were given to me outside of Farcry Blooddragon and Farcry 5 (I bought Blooddragon again on Steam just so I don't have to use Connect to play it). That compared to like about 700 titles on Steam. The Ubisoft Connect app, and Ubisoft themselves, are trash. If they gave Outlaws away as a bonus to get people to use the app, I'd still not be messing with it.

Damn $69 to $135 to pre order that game ? WTF, What kinda of game costs that much ? Does it come with season passes and sh*t ? Dayuuum, It pays to get ubisoft game pass as its cheaper ! Never pre order games, No.1 rule !
