@@TuningAnApple you're right about their vibes being the same, but i think most people would agree that who they are deep down is pretty different. childe's not downright evil, but he's definitely not good. all his character stories are about childe starting fights, glorifying in warfare, etc. and really, summoning osial is a LOT worse than people seem to give him credit for. yeah, childe's intention was to draw the geo archon out of hiding, but he didn't actually know if it would work. he was fine with the idea of potentially destroying a whole city. don't get me wrong, i think childe's a really interesting character (i'm a childe main lmao), but he has some screws loose and he is NOT a good person. thoma, on the other hand - this might change ofc - but so far he seems like a loyal, genuine guy who's devoted to a good cause - stopping an oppressive edict and/or regime from hurting others. just because two characters have mischievous, teasing vibes to them doesn't mean they're equivalent to each other.

Honestly, it makes sense why the Traveler would just deny giving Inazuma his help as compared to before. If anything, he NEVER really got the chance to refuse, he was always getting caught up in other people's messes. And now that he's discovered what's happened to his twin, enough is enough. He won't help people unless it also ties up to what HE wants as well. Changing the times as Ayaka wants has nothing to do with him meeting the raiden shogun, and he refuses to help THEM before they help HIM, because he's caught on that Inazuma is not a kind nation. They'll swindle anyone for their own gain, and he's not budging an inch.

Yoimiya's quest basically confirms that the traveller was shaken after encountering their sibling and their perspective on travelling changed, they don't want to waste time and are in a hurry to get their sibling back, that's why Yoimiya encouraged them to enjoy their journey a bit more.

The fact that the traveler is not listening to that is kind of worrying for his future... Honestly, I'm just scared that traveler will break down very soon. (Edit: Yup, Zhongli said that, thanks for correcting me. Dainsleif also told the traveler not to rush).

I think a lot of people mistake traveler for the "hero" type character. He just gets roped into everything, but he himself is just another dude. He's trying to find his sister, and he really isn't involved enough to try and help some sort of rebellion in a nation that he hasn't even lived in. So in that sense, of course he'd refuse.

Even i sort've forgotten that the traveler isn't me, but their own person with their own feelings towards characters and situations. I'm too used to wanting to help everybody and anybody, so when the traveler blatantly kept refusing, it kinda surprised me more than i thought it would.

If genshin has a anime , I think the main character should be develop as his journey continue like Example: he learn to not only find his sister but also have fun by properly using his freedom learnings from monstast ( the city of freedom) he learn to always reach his goal by making a promise with himself to always find their sister because promise is a type of contract learnings from liyue ( the city of contract) He learn to always use any means possible to reach his goals even if there wars by learning from Inazuma ( the city of eternity) where there war some how I thinks it will be a great ways to have aether character development Edit: what do you guys think a story line like that
